Hail Mono Ice Team

I've always liked Hail and Ice-types, so, casting aside the huge risk of a mono ice team, I came up with this lineup. So far my biggest challenge in Generation V is just playing weather switch with other teams. The team doesn't completely fall apart in Sandstorms, but Sunny Days I have to play a little bit more strategically.

Lead: Abomasnow
@ Focus Sash
EVs: (40 HP, 216 Atk, 252 Speed)
Nature: Adamant
-Swords Dance
-Seed Bomb
-Earthquake
-Ice Shard

Abomasnow is a great lead in my experience. Most of the time it gets a free Swords Dance against other leads who opt for Stealth Rock and still leaving Focus Sash unbroken. Depending on how long it takes for Abomasnow to get attacked, he can plow through a few Pokemon. Earthquake is great for Heatran switch-ins, Ice Shard bypasses Abomasnow's so-so speed, good for revenge killing and decimates Dragon-types. Abomasnow is my only Hail user. I'm debating adding another one.

Cloyster
@ Shell Bell
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: (100 HP, 44 Atk, 196 Defense, 168 Speed)
Nature: Adamant
-Shell Smash
-Icicle Spear
-Rock Blast
-Razor Shell/Surf (?)

Generally with Cloyster I try to predict a priority attack and swap in Cloyster, then proceed to Shell Smash. Cloyster's been kind of a risk, but one that really pays off sometimes. Icicle Spear and Rock Blast after a Shell Smash racks up a ton of damage and restores a lot of health. I'm debating swapping Razor Shell with Surf, but Razor Shell is a decent STAB move. The EV spread is a little weird, but it still has decent defense after Shell Smashing.

Weavile
@ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: (124 Atk, 120 Defense, 252 Speed)
Nature: Jolly
-Taunt
-Ice Punch
-Night Slash
-Brick Break

Weavile carries a lot of weight on this team. Taunt is fun as always, especially to Pranksters and stops Will-o-Wisps. Ice Punch is used over Ice Shard because Weavile usually goes first and packs more power. Night Slash is a standard STAB attack. Brick Break rounds out coverage and lets Weavile hit Ferrothorn, and sometimes cleanly OHKOs Tyranitar, a real nuisance.

Froslass
@ C. Specs
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: (4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Speed)
Nature: Timid
-Blizzard
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt
-Destiny Bond

Froslass used to be Ice-Rotom, but the Ghost-typing is really handy for this team. I usually switch in Froslass into Fake Outs or after Conkeldurr gets a set up of Bulk Up under its belt and Mach Punches. Psychic then cleanly KOs Mienshao and sometimes Conkeldurr. Blizzard is for spamming under Hail Conditions, Thunderbolt for coverage and against Water types who stand in the way of Blizzard. Occasionally Destiny Bond can take out a threat.

Glaceon
@ C. Scarf
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: (6 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Speed)
-Blizzard
-Hidden Power [Fire]
-Shadow Ball
-Water Pulse

Glaceon is great if it can outspeed foes and spam Blizzard. HP Fire really nails Ferrothorn and Scizor, who both usually don't switch out on Glaceon. Once one or both of those are out of the way, my team has a lot easier time. Shadow Ball and Water Pulse are mainly just taking up space, but Water Pulse can at least let Glaceon hit Heatran for some damage. Other moves to put here would be welcome.

Mamoswine
@ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: (20 HP, 252 Atk, 236 Speed)
Nature: Adamant
-Ice Shard
-Earthquake
-Icicle Crash
-Stone Edge

This team would just not be complete without Mamoswine. Mamoswine has the potential to plow through a lot of Pokemon in one piece. Sitrus Berry gives it a little more survivability and flexibility to switch moves. Icicle Crash is a great new attack, and the flinching chance is nice.

Other Comments:

-Snow Cloak is really my only means of defense. This team is more meant just to attack and get the job done.

-Entry hazards suck, but turns used by the opponent setting up are worthwhile turns of attack.

Anyway, I've been using this team for awhile without changes, so any constructive criticism is certainly appreciated.
