fuck me that makes me feel old. like watching your child grow up. i presume. haven't got any kids yet. as evidenced somewhat by my continuing presence here.
been an exciting five years... could do some peter kay material (d'you remember smogoff cap? d'you remember?) but that might cheapen the celebration slightly. lots of good times! and some shit ones. and a fair few average ones. the full spectrum of forumhood!
we've certainly developed our own little culture here, in the manner of a yoghurt left alone in the corner of the fridge for five years. that doesn't feel like the worst metaphor ever. though perhaps more applicable to the Subforum Before? anyway. there's stuff itf that you just wouldn't get anywhere else. try explaining the history of the page 5 image to a resetera user. they would explode.
i'm glad we have smogoff. here's to the next five years! and possibly the five after that. and then, based on historical trends, the banning of all the mods and establishment of yet another off-topic forum. cheers!
