Done Hatterene [QC 1/1][GP 0/1]

Hatterene (F) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 48 SpA / 52 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic Noise / Psyshock
- Draining Kiss
- Nuzzle
- Mystical Fire

Owing to its natural bulk paired with full HP investment, Assault Vest Hatterene is an immediate offensive and defensive presence. Magic Bounce blocks entry hazards and lets Hatterene absorb status. Assault Vest allows Hatterene to reliably check special attackers like Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele. 52 Speed EVs enable Hatterene to outspeed Toxapex, and the Special Attack investment and Modest nature maximize its damage. The Defense investment lets Hatterene not be 2HKOed by defensive Landorus-T's Earthquake. Psychic Noise blocks recovery from walls like Alomomola and Toxapex, while Psyshock deals significantly more damage to checks such as Galarian Slowking that like to switch into Hatterene. Draining Kiss aids longevity, and Mystical Fire threatens Steel-types such as Gholdengo and Ferrothorn. Nuzzle punishes switch-ins by spreading paralysis, even on Gholdengo, which helps offensive teammates later in the game. This set thrives on offense and bulky offense structures that need a pivot to pressure foes.

Want to check this once again before QC [1/1]

Owing to its natural bulk paired with full HP investment, Assault Vest Hatterene is an immediate offensive and defensive presence. Magic Bounce lets it prevent hazards and also acts as a status sponge. Assault Vest and some physical bulk investment allows it to reliably check special attackers like Iron Valiant and Tapu Lele and stomach physcial hits. 52 Speed EVs enable it to outspeed defensive pivots like Slowking Toxapex (Slowking-G mostly run minimum speed ivs with a -spe nature which makes most hatterenes outspeed them anyway. On the other hand this spread outspeeds toxapex so that you can PNoise or whatever) and the Special Attack investment with Modest Nature bolster chip damage. (The defense evs allow hatterene to be 3hko'd by a Defensive Lando-T's Earthquake - make sure to add this) Psychic Noise cripples recovery from walls like Alomomola (Add Toxapex) while Psyshock deals significantly more damage to checks like Galarian Slowking that like to switch into it. Draining Kiss helps longetivity and Mystical Fire threatens Steel-types such as Gholdengo and Kingambit. Nuzzle punishes common switch-ins by spreading paralysis, notably even Gholdengo, which helps offensive teammates to clean later in the game. This set thrives on balance (Balance is a bit weird, it's mostly used on Offense and seldomly used on BO) and bulky offense structures that needs a pivot that pressures foes.

Edit: QC 1/1 Given. Discussed via discord
