Overview
########

  • Brings a new unique typing, Fighting-Type, and Flying-type
  • Bringing in a total of five weaknesses-Electric, Ice, Flying, Physic, and the new Fairing typing.
  • Hawlucha has received two notable, core STABs- High Jump kick, and Acrobatics.
  • Hawlcha makes for a good clean up, end game sweeper, and looks good too
  • Hawlucha has access to Unburden, Limber, and it's hidden ability Mold Breaker.
  • Hawlucha after Unburden outspeeds the likes of Sharpedo, and Scolipede, even after Speed Boost
  • Full stat spread of 78 / 92 / 75 / 74 / 63 / 118

Moves
========
  • Reason for using this set is really nothing else is truly viable in the meta, or it is just overall to gimmicky for the OU environment
  • High Jump Kick is the best Fighting-type move available to Hawlucha
  • Acrobatics after the use of your item deals more damage to troublesome pokemon that you can't hit with High Jump Kick
  • Substitute helps to activate your Liechi Berry, and it provides you some protection for further set up
  • Swords Dance is one of the better stat-boosters in the game
Set Details
========

  • The EV spread is basic for a Physical Sweeper, 4 in HP over Defenses because it's base defenses are too low to make use of an extra point
  • Liechi Berry is really the best option in terms of items
  • Unburden is the best of the three abilities, because his base speed stat of 118 he can out speed most pokemon, even if some use agility
Usage Tips
========
  • Priorities of a fight
    • Substitute
    • Swords dance, or if you feel brave enough, Use offensive moves
Team Options
========

  • Great team options would include;
    • Support Baton Passers, such as Scolipede, Ninjask, or Vapereon (with the use of wish prior)
    • Setup pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Espeon,or Tyranitar
  • Other pokemon that can deal with his counters such as, Charizard, Aerodactyl, or Hippowdon

Other Options
========

  • Sky Attack, or Dig, with a Power Herb can add a unique way to activate Unburden
  • A Baton pass set that really only adds the element of surprise
  • Hone Claws and Bulk Up are also viable options instead of Swords Dance

Checks and Counters
========
  • Common threats would include
    • Aegislash
    • Thundurus, and Thundurus-T
    • Rotom-F
    • Dedenne
    • Zapdos

Flying Gem is currently unavailable, and will be that way for the foreseeable future.

The best alternatives that I've seen are Swords Dance / High Jump Kick / Sky Attack / Acrobatics @ Power Herb and Substitute / Swords Dance / Hi Jump Kick / Acrobatics/Baton Pass @ Liechi Berry

Way too many slashes on the first set, plus spelling errors and irrelevant moves. U-turn could be OO if you want, it can't really fit it in. Mention that Sub is for Liechi set and Power Herb is for Sky Attack.

IMO Liechi is way superior.
 
Also, mention in Checks and Counters that Ghost-types can switch in on High Jump Kick and really screw Hawlucha up unless you are trying to activate Liechi Berry so you predict the Ghost and HJK on purpose don't do what I crossed out
 
I finished most of the Hawlucha Analysis but I would like it if someone could proofread it so I just know the grammar, and everything is okay.

I really don't see this thing flying in OU. It's frail, hard to set up with, easily countered, easily revenged, outclassed by other sweepers, and more. It really wants a Flying Gem.

What Fuzznip said. Without Flying Gem Hawlucha is simply crap. Nevermind Aegislash really fucks with its dual STABs.
