I'm going to keep the Choice Band set pretty much the same. I think that the Choice Scarf could use a better spread, but the main thing is that I'm merging the last three sets into one. Personally, I feel that both the Swords Dance and Dragon Dance sets are outclassed by the Double Dance. Bear with me though.

Haxorus

[Overview]
  • Majorly hyped at the beginning of BW
  • Burst onto the scene with Choice Band set
  • Base 147 Attack is ridiculous
  • Outrage destroys anything that doesn't resist, and even some resists
  • Not slow, but not fast enough
  • Average bulk doesn't supplement this at all
  • An absolute monster nonetheless
[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Outrage
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Brick Break
move 4: Dual Chop / Dragon Claw
item: Choice Band
ability: Mold Breaker / Rivalry
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Set that popularized Haxorus
  • Spam Outrage, things die
  • Earthquake hits even Levitators like Gengar, Bronzong and Rotom-W, while also hitting Jirachi and non-Balloon Heatran
  • Brick Break really just hits Balloon Heatran and Ferrothorn while also hitting Tyranitar slightly harder
  • Dual Chop is a nifty move that bypasses Substitute and Focus Sash
  • If accuracy lets you down, Dragon Claw is a reliable alternative
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
  • Adamant hits as hard as possible with max Attack
  • EVs allow you to live a number of important attacks while also outspeeding Dragonite
  • LO Landorus Earthquake, LO Reuniclus, Scarf Terrakion Close Combat all fail to KO
  • Keep offensive calcs?
  • Mold Breaker is a really good ability, nullifying Levitate and Multiscale
  • Rivalry is really only viable on this set, as most of the time you will get a power boost
  • If it lowers your Attack, you've still got basically a Life Orb
  • Haxorus has other physical options, but really none of them are viable, so those are going in OO
  • Skarmory is the only counter to this set
  • Magnezone gets rid of Skarmory as well as Ferrothorn
  • Can break walls for other Dragons to sweep, so things like Salamence and Dragonite are good partners
[SET]
name: Double Dance
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Swords Dance / Brick Break / Taunt
move 3: Outrage
move 4: Earthquake
item: Lum Berry / Draco Plate
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Adamant
evs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Haxorus wrecks everything with a boost, and has the boosting moves to do it
  • Either set-up move boost your Attack
  • Dragon Dance vs. offense, Swords Dance vs. stall
  • Brick Break is only useful for Balloon Heatran without locking yoursef into Outrage
  • Taunt allows you to avoid status and beat Skarmory
  • Outrage destroys after a boost or two
  • Earthquake hits the very few things that Outrage doesn't, like Jirachi, Magnezone, and Metagross
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
  • Max Attack and Adamant to hit as hard as possible
  • EVs are same as Choice Band
  • Jolly is an option to outrun Scarf Rotom-W at +1, should it be slashed?
  • Lum Berry heals Outrage Confusion, as well as letting Haxorus set up on Jirachi, and bulky Waters with Scald
  • Draco Plate gives nearly the same power as Life Orb, without the recoil
  • It's preferred becuase Earthquake often gets the necessary KOs without a 1.3 boost
  • Mold Breaker is the only option here, since killing Gengar and Rotom-W without locking yourself into Outrage is key
  • Speed ties with Accelgor at +1, but Accelgor isn't common at all
  • Can beat all of its counters with a move of choice
  • Magnezone helps with Skarmory and Ferrothorn
  • Plays really well in a DragMag team, as it can beat most Steels by itself
[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Outrage
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Brick Break
move 4: Dragon Claw / Dual Chop
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly
evs: 84 HP / 252 Atk / 172 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Haxorus can function as an effective revenge killer with a Choice Scarf
  • Base 97 Speed leaves it outsped by a lot of common things; Choice Scarf aims to fix this
  • Outrage revenges +1 Dragonite through Multiscale
  • Earthquake hits Steels
  • Not even sure if Brick Break OHKOs Ferrothorn; it is a good coverage move nonetheless
  • Dragon Claw is more reliable, and this set's role can't be compromised due to a miss
  • Dual Chop hits Dragonite behind a Substitute, but won't KO
[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
  • New spread looks to give Haxorus speed, power, and bulk
  • Outspeeds Timid Scarf Rotom-A and neutral +1 base 100s
  • Only thing between that and max Speed is Timid Scarf Kyurem, so the rest is placed in HP
  • Mold Breaker is irreplaceable on ths set, due to losing the ability to OHKO Multiscale Dragonite
  • Set lacks power, Skarmory easily walls
  • Can't hit Steels such as Heatran and Jirachi hard enough with Outrage
  • Magnezone is always a good partner
  • Beats Scarf Terrakion 1 on 1
  • Ferrothorn is counters this set more than than the other sets becuase Brick Break doesn't hit hard enough
  • Adamant 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe can be use for more power, or max Speed Adamant
[Other Options]
  • Swords Dance with three attacks
  • Life Orb boosts power immensely
  • Other physical options include Rock Slide, Shadow Claw, X-Scissor, and Poison Jab
  • All are inferior options
  • Substitute prevents revnege killing from being locked into Outrage, but is outclassed by Taunt
  • Doesn't have the bulk to use Dragon Tail
[Checks and Counters]
  • Skarmory is your best choice for countering Haxorus, as it noly fear Taunt
  • It can use Whirlwind to negate any boosts, set up Spikes, and Roost off the damage
  • Almost nothing else can safely switch in
  • Forretress can hit Haxorus hard with Gyro Ball, although it is set-up fodder for Swords Dance
  • Latios is a fine revenge killer, as it easily OHKOs with Draco Meteor, and Scarf versions can revenge Haxorus even at +1
  • Scarf Rotom-W can use HP Ice and outspeeds if you don't run Jolly
  • Ice Shard does a number on it, users of it include Mamoswine and Donphan
  • Scizor 2HKOs with Bullet Punch, although it can't switch into Earthquake
  • Timid Scarf Kyurem outruns both Scarf and after a Dragon Dance, and can dispatch Haxorus with either Ice Beam or Draco Meteor
  • Scarf Abomasnow can revenge an unboosted Haxorus with Blizzard
  • Although extremely rare, Weavile outspeeds and OHKOs with Ice Punch
[Dream World]
  • Haxorus gets Unnerve from the Dream World
  • Always inferior to both Mold Breaker and Rivalry

Why are you revamping Haxorus? The analysis thats onsite is up to date with the current metagame, and it's well written too. I also don't like how decided to merge the dance sets together on a whim; its been proven that they all do their own thing and different players have had success with each individual set. If you wanted to include a new spread, you could have pmed one of the BW OU QC members. Though, I can't say I agree with using Jolly on Choice Scarf Haxorus. Part of his Scarf Hax's draw is the ability to OHKO just about anything even while wearing a Choice Scarf.

So yeah, sorry but I don't see a point to this thread.
