Hi! I just created my account on Smogon and Showdown and fought some of my first battles for RBY OU. I was wondering if the Showdown community views 1-&-done battles negatively. My gut instinct is to leave a room after I lose because I assume the chance of me winning the next game against someone who beat me decisively is low. Vice versa if I'm the one that won decisively.

Are you laddering? Almost nobody rematches after ladder matches since rematches aren’t rated. There’s no etiquette to it.
Also, just so you know, you’re not supposed to make threads without moderator approval; questions like this better fit the Simple Question Simple Answer thread! It’s not a big deal but this will probably be moved there soon.
