Help me build a team around a poke!

Ok, I'm trying to build a team around gallade, but I don't feel it's centralized enough ('cause it's not :p) so I wanted someone to help me make some major revisions, though I would like to keep clefable and Pika.

Crobat@Leftovers
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Speed, 4 Atk
-U-turn
-Hypnosis
-Mean Look
-Aerial Ace

This sounded good on paper, though I don't think it adds much synergy

Clefable @ Life Orb?
Ability: Magic Guard
EVS:252 Hp/52 Def/200 Sp.Def
Calm (+Sp. Def, -Def?)<--unsure
-Seismic Toss
-Softboiled
-Ice Beam
-Encore

Special Wall. Single handedly(spelling?) the most successful moveset I've used. Catch opponents on a stat upping move and encore them. Paralyze and seismic toss away. Softboiled for recovery.

Sparky @ Lightball
Ability: Static
EVS: 104 Atk/154 Sp. Attk/252 Speed
Naive (+Speed, -Sp. Def)
-Thunderbolt
-Substitute
-HP Ice
-Brick Break/Focus Punch

Ahhh, my baby and Fave poke, Pikachu. Seriously underrated. Won me quite a few games in fact. Unsure whether to go for Brick Break or Focus Punch.

Fergie @ Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
EVS: 252 Attk/252 Speed/6 HP
Nature: Adamant (+ Attk, -Sp. Attk)
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Ice Punch
-Earthquake

Standard set. Main Physical Sweeper. Pretty easy to use and self explanatory. Usually bring him after Jumpluff.

Arcanine @ ?
Ability: Flash Fire
EVS: 228 Attk/188 Speed/92 Sp. Attk
Naive (+ speed, -Def)
-Extremespeed
-Overheat
-Flare Blitz
-HP Grass

Ahhh, My wallbreaker. Flare Blitz for Blissey, Overheat for Skarm, and HP Grass for Swamperts. Mixed Sweeper

Gallade @ Lefties
Adamant (+ Atk, - Sp. Atk)
Ability: Steadfast
EVs:230 Hp,/100 At/120 Def/60 Sp
-Drain Punch
-Psycho Cut
-Bulk Up
-Thunderwave/Nightslash/W-o-w/Hypnosis

I kinda just slapped him in there because I was testing him and he turned out to be awesome so now I want my team to revolve around him :p

It's better to just attempt building a team around a poke and then have everyone else revise it.
That way you don't get your thread locked.

i agree with sirraven. you'll get a lot of flames because people don't like making teams for others from scratch. it looks lazy and lack sincerity. you can just about slap gallade on any team anyways since it takes just about anything neutral and has so many weapons to choose from.

Don't use Dragon Dance Feraligatr, because it really has no advantage over Gyarados (other than type advantage but that's arguable). I always go Swords Dance with Salac Berry on Feraligatr, as he can power up fast and is surprisingly bulky enough to survive a hit or two and get into Salac range for a sweep. It's worked wonders with me and I've had plenty of 6-0s and 5-0s with it.

When you're building a team around a single Pokemon, find out its best counters and think about how to eliminate them. Pokemon like Wobbuffet (on Shoddy only), Dugtrio, and the like are good at removing counters.
