Help me improve on my team?

[Improve Please] My New Team!

Alright, after two days of competitive battling, I have finally pulled together a team that uses SOME strategy. However, it still sucks. Could any of you help me improve on it? Especially my team's weakness to electric types. That sucks.

Tentacruel @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Nature: Calm
EVs: 204 HP / 96 SpA / 172 SpD / 36 Spe
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Rapid Spin
~ Toxic Spikes
My lead and spinner. Surf provides him with a reliable STAB move while Ice Beam while Ice Beam is for good coverage. Lays down two Toxic Spikes right off the bat then switches out to Scarmory. He also serves as an emergency Special Wall, when Blissey is facing those nasty fighting types.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD
~ Ice Beam
~ Protect
~ Wish
~ Thunder Wave
Surprisingly good at taking down Togekisses (curse them to the bottomless pits of hell...) with Ice Beam, Blissey also is my T-Waver, other than her obviously role as a Wall. Wish for support and Protect for attacks such as Focus Punch, I think I made a pretty good choice with her. A Protect used after a Wish is good for healing too.

Gyrados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Def / 80 SpA / 176 SpD
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Ice Fang
~ Stone Edge
I have no strategy for him. Help me out here, guys. I don't even know how many times I should use DD.

Heatran @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Modest
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
~ Fire Blast
~ Earthquake
~ Dragon Pulse
~ Explosion
Umm...bash away? Explosion as a last resort.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Atk / 156 Def / 4 Spe
~ Brave Bird
~ Stealth Rock
~ Whirlwind
~ Roost
I don't know what I'd do without this guy. With just Stealth Rock and Whirlwind, Skarmory not only pisses off the enemy, but also effectively damages it. When low on HP, Roost is a great way to recover. Although primarily used as my Physical Wall, Skarmory can put up a good fight with fighting types such as Machamp and Lucario using Brave Bird. A very useful member of the team. By the way, do Stealth Rocks stack?

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Mild
EVs: 120 Atk / 252 SpA / 136 Spe
~ Brick Break
~ Draco Meteor
~ Fire Blast
~ Crunch

A standard MixMence. Pretty good coverage but falls to Ice Types.

Well, that's it. I would really appreciate it if any of you could improve on my team. Anything goes, since it doesn't really have a concept other than the SR/TS WW combo.

might want seismic toss on blissey for sub calm mind raikou, sticking in stealth rock on heatran or blissey would be good to so skarmory can have spikes then. by weakness to elctric types you probably mean electrive mostly so a bulky ground like hippowdon, donphan,or swampert could be good over gyarados or salamence to stop them and can do stealth rock also if you dont want it on heatran or blissey. and swords dance lucario could take you down quite easily hippowdon can take a close combat if you add him so can bulky gyarados or bulky salamence if he doesnt have ice punch or if you give salamence at least enough speed to outspeed jolly lucario. scarfing heatran might be a good idea too as it gives you a back up plan to take out lucario. outrage is slighty more powerful than even super effective crunch so you can try that if you have shoddy or platnium.

5 out of 6 of your team is Starmie weak, so keep that Bliss!Generally one DD outspeeds most pokes that arnt scarfed, depending on your speed EV's. Diffently change gyara's EV's, theres not need for special atk.I use the same Skarm...SR doesnt stack.

i would change gyarados to this :

Gyrados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 180 HP / 136 Atk / 120 Def / 72 spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Waterfall
~ Taunt
~ Stone Edge / Ice Fang

Taunt will stop pokemon from phazing you away and also stops will-o-wisp
the ev's are a tweaked version of the ones on the analysis, since your running a jolly nature you can leave out some of the the speed ev's, but this means you have to increase the attack

if your team needs a fast sweeper you could also use this one :

Gyarados @ Choice scarf
Ability :Intimidate
Nature : Jolly
Ev's : 68 hp /252 atk / 188 spe
- Waterfall / Aqua Tail
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Bounce
- Ice Fang

one of my own pokemon ideas, enough speed ev's to outrun choice scarf heracross / medicham, max attack, th hp will give it a bit of bulk.

Ice and ground provide great coverage, waterfall for STAB. Bounce could be used for secondary STAB but i would recommend stone edge since it has a higher base power and better accuracy
