VGC Help me out w/ my Miraidon Balance team.

floating skink (Miraidon) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Hadron Engine
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 28 HP / 228 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Electro Drift
- Draco Meteor
- Volt Switch
- Dazzling Gleam

Since I wanted a tad more bulk, meaning I couldn't go fully into SpA, I chose Choice Specs as my item. This is mostly a pretty standard set for Miraidon, however a few things to note. Volt Switch is mainly there to get damage on the board against Rillaboom/Amoongus without having to worry about taking to much damage myself, I don't use it outside of those 2 matchups like at all. Draco Meteor is mostly for if I have Ogrepon with my Miraidon so I can target a Groudon or other Pokemon like that without having to give up my tera, then I Follow Me to allow a safe switch after the SpA drop. Timid purely because I despise speed ties against enemy Miraidon, and most Mirai I've seen run +SpA.

stronk otter (Urshifu-Rapid-Strike) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Unseen Fist
Level: 50
Tera Type: Stellar
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Close Combat
- Aqua Jet
- Protect

Pretty standard set I think, I'm not a huge fan of Choice Band or Choice Scarf Urshifu because it limits my options and doesn't allow me to protect against Iron Hands fake out or Rillaboom fake out. I am considering Tera Water so if y'all thinks that's better lmk. Aqua Jet over Taunt BCS well, I have Ogrepon, which decimates Amoongus so I never really need to worry about taunting it, and having a bit of priority against fast restricted mon that have been chipped down a bit is good.

fire shrek (Ogerpon-Hearthflame) (F) @ Hearthflame Mask
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 164 HP / 100 Atk / 52 Def / 4 SpD / 188 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Wood Hammer
- Follow Me
- Spiky Shield

I KNOW the EVs are all over the place but its like this for a pretty good reason. HP is high to optimize amount healed from Grassy Terrain, Atk is enough to OHKO most relevant threats that I'd be Super Effective against, and after Tera can OHKO neutral enemies. Def and SpD is just to make sure I'm not immediately murdered after a singular follow me Infront of a restricted, and Speed to outspeed Rillaboom and Urshifu (without items). As for moveset, I mean, its my 2 best stab options plus follow me, one of the best moves of all time, and a better protect lol.

airborne fingers (Iron Hands) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Quark Drive
Level: 50
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 76 HP / 180 Atk / 12 Def / 236 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Drain Punch
- Low Kick
- Wild Charge
- Fake Out

Speed is set to minimum to go before main threats if trickroom is set up, other than that, pretty normal spread I think? Drain Punch is for recovery against any Neutral opponents or opponents I'm super effective against. Low Kick for great damage against pretty much every restricted mon except CSR. Wild Charge because GameFreak wont add any good Physical Electric type moves, does great damage into Kyogre and Urshifu and Tornadus. Fake Out is pretty much the only Urshifu counter in the game so it has to be there of course, and I mean, even if they protect I often just partner it with MY urshifu so it doesn't matter.

tigger (Incineroar) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 84 Def / 88 SpD
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Helping Hand
- Fake Out

What do you want me to say? Only weird thing about this Incin is it runs helping hand over parting shot and thats purely because I never really used parting shot and more damage with my Mirai or Urshifu is great. Designed to take hits and partially counter CSR (my team in general is kinda weak against CSR), allows great pressure with Fake Out and keeps the opponent guessing on when I'm gonna support my other attacker or just attack with the Incin.

GarryFarry (Farigiraf) @ Electric Seed
Ability: Armor Tail
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 16 Spe
- Hyper Voice
- Trick Room
- Psychic Noise
- Protect

I'm pretty sure its legally mandated that all teams must include Farigiraf or Urshifu, so I have both because I'm a law abiding citizen. Although I usually don't bring it, its great to stop priority and the ghost immunity is nice. I don't often bring it but its amazing when I do, and uh I was experimenting with sap sipper Farigiraf for a minute because without team sheets on, EVERYONE would assume I'm running armor tail yeah? So they wouldn't do a priority move, they'd probably try and spore the Farigiraf, which instead gives me a boost! I did end up going back to armor tail just so I could switch in and prevent priority.

All I can think to ask is why SpD e seed farigiraf(not more def to cash in on the item,) and why two fighting STAB iron hands? Looks standard besides so you might not get much advice, I'd expect there's little to give.

heyhey! a few smaller notes

1. i think the reason you don’t bring farigaraf very often is that you aren’t running the most optimal moveset on it. currently, you’re walled by calyrex and heavily bullied by physical attackers even with electric seed because of your moves and spread respectively.

I would recommend using this set:
Farigiraf @ Electric Seed
Ability: Armor Tail
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 204 HP / 164 Def / 4 SpA / 108 SpD / 28 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 6 Atk
- Foul Play
- Psychic Noise
- Trick Room
- Helping Hand
it maximizes your defensive utility while also giving you even more offensive pressure through helping hand! the biggest reason you aren’t getting any value out of Farig is that its moveset is leaving it completely passive into CSR and balance styles in general. Helping hand and Foul Play actually give you that utility and allow you to serve as a real presence on the field, which your current, extremely passive, set does not

2. I would definitely recommend going Whimsicott>Incineroar like on the original Arubega 6. Incineroar is kind of redundant here, you have Ogerpon/Urshifu, Miraidon, Hands, and Farigaraf. You already have a good enough matchup into Calyrex Ice with the other mons to the point that you do not need Incineroar. Remember: this structure is inherently offensive- Incin is way too passive for a fast aggressive build like this. Hands is different because it’s a lot stronger and provides a lot of offensive and defensive utility into CIR and other mus, while Farig provides direct support to your strongest pieces- Incin is just redundant here, whimsicott fits much better. Even with Timid Miraidon, the mirror is looking extremely rough- you definitely need Whims into opposing Mirai and Calyrex-S because of light screen and speed control. Use this spread:
Whimsicott @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 236 HP / 164 SpD / 108 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Tailwind
- Light Screen
- Encore

Overall the team is pretty consistent! Timid Miraidon is a super nice touch for the mirror matchup!

TYSM for the feedback! I asked on the PS VGC and they legit just told me the same thing about Farig haha so I'll make sure to edit my team. Trying this new and improved team now, I'm very thankful! <3
