Help my Future Wifi Team Please

I've been trying to decide on what team I want to start off D/P with but I haven't been having much luck. I know I'm suppose to have some underlying theme to my team but it's really just made of pokemon I like. I also tried to stay away from Standards as much as possible. I like the idea of using not so common pokemon and it should be good for my opponents too.

Scizor@
Trait: Technician
EVs:
Nature
-Somersault
-Pursuit
-Aerial Ace
-

Scizor will be my lead, having so many resistances is nice for the first turn. He also has the ability to take a hit from Heracross and OHKO it back with a beefed up Aerial Ace. Pursuit + Technician puts a nice dent into the starting Gengars and Alakazams. Most pokemon I've seen with Somersault have fast speeds which seem to subtract from the usefulness of the move. Unless it's a Fire move, Scizor should be able to take the hit and then Somersault to a counter letting it come in without taking a hit.

As far as items go I've thought of Lum Berry, Leftovers, and Choice Band. The Lum Berry should help with Hypnosis leads, the Leftovers go well with a more tankish build, while the Choice Band adds some nice extra punch but I'm not sure if it's needed. For the fourth move I'm having a hard time deciding. If I go with the Choice Band I'll probably end up with Brick Break to help with Steels but if I go with the other two, maybe Roost for some extra survivability.

Forretress@Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
-Gyro Ball
-Rapid Spin
-Stealth Rock
-Explosion

I wanted to fit in a Rapid Spinner and a Stealth Rock pokemon just because so many teams seem to be ignoring one or the other. STAB Gyro Ball should do some decent damage if he's got time, and explode when needed. I'm not sure if this should be Donphan or not but I prefer this type much more and it gives me another Fire weakness for my next pokemon.

Houndoom@Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 52 HP / 204 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
-Taunt
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower
-Dark Pulse

Houndoom, the recipient of the fire attacks aimed at Scizor and Forretress. I got this moveset from Phuquoph and it blows my set away. With the ability to quickly power itself up and counter some threats like Azelf, Jirachi, and Celebi I love this guy.

Hariyama@Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 12 HP / 248 Def / 248 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
-Force Palm
-Counter
-Knock Off
-Stone Edge/Ice Punch/Whirlwind

I'm quickly falling in love with this pokemon after all the discussion in the Hariyama thread. With tons of HP and defenses he should last awhile. Force Palm is strong enough to OHKO Tyranitar and 2HKO Blissey with the above EVs. Maybe add alittle more to attack to make it guarenteed. Counter works wonders with his massive 144 base HP and Knock Off should help handling a lot of the new threatening choice users. I'm still undecided on the last move, Stone Edge hurts the fliers that resist Fighting and hurts Zapdos and Gyarados. Ice Punch still hurts the fliers but has the nice bonus of creaming the dragons. Whirlwind is always nice to have but sadly I think the other attacks are more useful. I'm currently leaning towards Stone Edge for the extra power and the ability to beat on Gyarados.

Starmie@
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs:
Nature
-Psychic
-Grass Knot
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt

Sadly Starmie is on my team, I just find it too good. His Speed and Special Attack allow him to OHKO plenty of threats before getting hit. Unsure of what to do about his item, nature, and EVs though. A choice item would be sweet but I highly doubt I can switch him in often without Wish support. Leftovers might just be the safest bet.

I thought about using Slowbro instead with HP: Electric but I'm not sure how much I'd miss Grass Knot.

I currently don't have my sixth pokemon picked so I was hoping for some help with that. I attempted to fill out a threat list but some of the guys I'm not sure what to do with.

Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Garchomp - Starmie/Hariyama(Ice Punch)
Tyranitar - Starmie/Hariyama
Gyarados - Starmie/Hariyama
Infernape - Starmie
Gengar - Scizor
Azlef - Houndoom
Heracross - Scizor/Starmie
PorygonZ - I'm guessing Hariyama but I haven't done the math.
Electivire -
Swampert - Starmie
Togekiss - Starmie
Weavile - Houndoom
Salamence - Starmie/Hariyama
Snorlax - Hariyama
Heatran - Hariyama
Raikou -
Starmie
Rhyperior
Lucario
Dugtrio
Medicham
Zapdos - Hariyama
Blissey - Hariyama
Metagross - Houndoom
Celebi - Houndoom
Jirachi - Houndoom
Skarmory - Houndoom

I'm not too advanced in this, but i can help with your Starmie's nature and EVs. 252 Spc. Attack and 252 Speed with Timid is what I use, and it works fine. You could also give him Choice Specs if you want him to be your almighty special sweeper.

...I guess I thought it was obvious, but the point of going through the checklist was to give you a hint that, if you have a number of threats you can't handle, you're better off not posting your team until you figure out a good way to fix the problem. What's worse, though, in this case, is that you don't even have a sixth pokemon, which, besides actually being against the rules which state not to post incomplete teams, is worse because you don't even have to remove one of the members of your "team" to fix a good number of your problems. These are problems you left unadddressed on your idea of a threat checklist (one to which you added Skarmory, which confuses me since you left off many more) in Raikou and Starmie and ones you left off in Jirachi, Manaphy, Suicune...Blissey or Snorlax would take care of most of them, and it honestly baffles me how you couldn't at least have thought of those two to help out your five when you also knew you didn't have a sixth.

Slowbro actually learns Grass Knot so you wouldn't actually be missing anything if you actually decided to just change Starmie but keep all four of your moves...this information is actually in my announcement so if you honestly didn't want to check Serebii and see whether a pokemon you were considering using learned a move or not you still have little excuse for not knowing that since it's in the announcement you should have read.

Again, I'm obviously the bad guy, but I 100% must enforce these rules no matter how nice I want to be or else threads like these will go unchecked. We are not going to do you work for you, we just can't. If you don't understand why, that's the part that actually makes me the saddest. It does look like you put some effort into this with your explanations on why you're using the pokemon you are, but that is not enough if you decide to post a literally half-baked team. Try again when you've read our rules and delved deeper into the announcement (which closely defines the definition of counter and indicates why Starmie will never, ever be a Tyranitar counter) I've spent hours on to ensure the rest know where to start when building your teams.
