i'm still a little new with competitive pokemon and i don't really know anyone that could help me with my team so i thought i'd try here. i've been using this team for a few days now and it feels pretty solid but i'm sure there's a few things i should change. hopefully i don't look like a total noob here. ^^;

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
392.png

Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 64 SAtk / 192 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Close Combat
- U-turn
- Mach Punch
- Overheat
my usual lead mainly used for scouting. i use u-turn, switch into scizor and pursuit trap them if i suspect a switch or u-turn back out. scizor's choice band kills allot of leads like this. mach punch is for revenge kills and the other moves are just power moves to OHKO.

Scizor (F) @ Choice Band
212.png

Trait: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
main revenge killer, pretty straightforward.

Metagross @ Life Orb
376.png

Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 60 HP / 252 Atk / 196 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
basic sweeper. switch into a resisted move, agility, sweep. good for getting rid of walls like blissey that give my other pokes major trouble.

Suicune @ Leftovers
245.png

Trait: Pressure
EVs: 120 HP / 136 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Scald
- Roar
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
switch into fire/water move and tank or switch into sweepers and phaze. scold for status harassment and stab. pretty much only good for forcing a switch so i can (hopefully) regain some of my momentum.

Gengar (F) @ Leftovers
094.png

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis
hyponosis is for quickly dispatching pokemon that give me trouble, or at least giving me a chance to set up and fight back against them. switch in when i suspect a fighting move, so it's mostly used to support porygon2 and my steel types.

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
233.png

Trait: Download
EVs: 68 HP / 188 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
when in doubt, switch in porygon2. with the evolite he gets an insane amount of def/spdef and can take pretty much any hit without a problem. thunderwave to slow down enemies so i can recover easily or kill with metagross without needing the agility boost.

A very minor thing but if your scizor is meant to be your "Revenge Killer" it needs speed, not Hp. I reccomend using Choice Scarf over Choice Band. Also I might suggest taking some ev's from hp, and dropping them into speed so you hit something around 330 speed which will outspeed a large portion of the metagame. You can move some attack ev's to hp if you want a bulkier scizor, but this one is designed to hit hard, and fast, then switch out.

Try this:

Scizor @ Choice Scarf
EV's: 252 Spe, 252 Atk, 4 Hp
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit

RMT Rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.
Your descriptions are lacking, which puts you in violation of the rule above. Please elaborate more on each team member - about 3 or 4 solid sentences per member is a good goal to reach for. The RMT archive contains some examples of well-written RMTs. If you fix your descriptions, PM me with the updates and I'll be happy to unlock your thread.
