SM OU Help with my team.

i would consider myself pretty good in the oras era, and was battling casually and hit 1500 elo quite a number of times, but as sun and moon dawned on me, it has hit me quite hard and i have not been able to adapt with the introduction of new items like z stones and relevance of megas in this generation. As such can someone also link a post to sun and moon ou cores. Getting to the team :-

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 192 Def / 16 SpD / 52 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nature's Madness
- Taunt
- Moonblast
- Defog
My mixed wall, and defogger, it acts more of a utility sponging most fire type and ground type attacks(eq) which venu and jira cannot handle. It also has forms a nice core with jira and venu, covering for each others weakness.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
My physical attacker and go to guy for scarf lele. Haven't been able to get him in my game as much as i would like, but he is great utility in some tight situations

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis
Venu is my tank and is there to sponge most of the physical attacks, would like a moveset change on this one as it is not a set i like and currently can't find any better

Landorus-Therian @ Flyinium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Fly
- Stealth Rock
Pretty much a staple in any of my teams really, great poke, sets up rocks and puts pressure on some physical attackers and anything that does not resist flying type, at +2 attack mostly anything and everything is taken out by supersonic skystrike.

Greninja-Ash @ Life Orb
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Water Shuriken
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
This is the point where the team falls out really, both the last 2 pokemon are fillers and tried to make a volt turn core, an hyper offense core. Any replacements improving the synergy of the whole team is fine really, but would like to prefer team mates who can form a volt turn core or/and can take out pheromosa and ash greninja, which are huge pain in the butts.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Roost
- Heat Wave
- Defog

Threats i would like to deal with :- Stall and really fast pokemon.
Pls help me out, new here so don't really know how to use what, pls help me out if i did something wrong.

You shouldn't want to change Gren, it is a powerhouse. However, you should consider changing its item to choice specs or splash plate. I get the feeling that you should make lele your def wall, Jirachi a sp def wall. Venusaur can be bulky attacker, and there are many more variations fir you to check on smogon's Dex and forums. Since you carry defog on fini , maybe consider putting hp ice on zapdos or keep defog on zapdos and carry ice beam/ surf on fini.

Hope I helped you

hi there cool team. at first glance I noticed this team could have trouble dealing with is Mega Charizard Y- The main reason zard is threatening is this team doesn't have a solid way to deal with grass/fire coverage, and it also lacks a way to ohko zard. you could use Zapdos as a Zard-Y answer, but after sr and other chip damage it doesn't do that at all as it falls to Fire Blast. aside from that the team is pretty good as balance, so here are my suggested changes.

firstly, i would suggest running latios over tapu fini. latios gives you a way to switch into zardy, and pressure it with draco meteor and psyshock. latios also has recovery meaning it can switch into zardy multiple times, unless the opponent has a pursuit trapper which you could take advantage of with landot or ash greninja ( both of them appreciate getting free turns). you said tapu fini is here to sponge eqs and fire moves, and latios can also take both of those..but you have to be able to predict whether the ground type pkmn would go for eq or their other coverage ( stone edge from landot, eq from driller), and landorus-t is also there to prevent eq spam. however, this does make your team a lot weaker to pheromosa so you would have to play a lot more offensively around it since you don't have a 100% switchin to it anymore.

secondly i also think marowak-alola would be a better option over zapdos on this team. as i said before, even choice scarf pheromosa is a huge threat to this team with the removal of your main way of checking it. marowak-alola is a great way to beat pheromosa as it takes very little from all of its hits and also appreciates the defog support from latios. this team doesn't look like hyper offense , and doesn't play like it either so i don't really see a need for voltturn in your team. marowak-a can also pressure volcarona from setting up as they don't want to stay in and risk getting put in range of water shuriken by taking a shadow bone from marowak. however, with this change the team becomes a lot weaker to mega pinsir so getting up sr with landorus-t immediately and hitting it with a water shuriken from ash greninja, or psyshock from latios is your main way of beating it now. jirachi can also take a cc and hit it with iron head which could also put it in range of draco meteor from latios.
