Help with my UU Team

The reason I made this thread is because I need help making A UU team for shoddy battle. This would be my first competitive team so I need an idea of what Pokemon to put in my 2 empty slots in my team( the ones with ? by there names). Below are the Pokemon I have so far.

Sableye/leftovers
Careful nature/stall
252 Hp/158 Def/100 Atk
-Counter
-Payback
-Taunt
-Recover
As my starter I tried to give him lasting power and with by maxing out hp and boosting def, counter takes advantage of this. Taunt makes counter more viable. Payback takes advantage of his unique ability stall. Finally recover gives him one thing over his superior counter part, spiritomb.

Venomoth/silverpowder
Timid Nature/Tinted Lens
6 Hp/252 SpA/252 Spd
-Bug Buzz
-Sleep Powder
-Stun Spore
-U-Turn
This strategy is simple, put things to sleep and hit them with bug buzz. due to tinted lens bug buzz should do significant damage whether its effective or not.Stun spore is for sleep clause and u-turn is to do a little damage with is inevitable switch, due to it's paper defenses.

279pelipper.png

Pelipper/leftovers
Bold Nature/Keen Eye
252 Hp/184 Def/74 SpA
-Air slash
-Hydro pump
-Roost
-Toxic
Pelipper is a favorite of mine for several reasons. Due to his high defense and special attack he can sponge off physical attacks and really harm physical Pokemon. The reason why I picked hydro pump over surf is because I had to take EVs in SpA and put them in Def so I figure that when I do hit I want to hit hard. Toxic and roost are there to out last Pokemon. Finally air slash is another STAB move that with hydro pump, covers a lot of types.

454toxicroak.png

Toxicroak/life orb
Jolly Nature/Dry Skin
82 Hp/252 Atk/176 Spd
-Cross Chop
-Stone Edge
-Sucker Punch
-Swords Dance
This is straight out of the Strategy Pokédex . Its various attack moves are there to for weakness coverage and swords dance sets up a sweep.

455carnivine.png

?Carnivine/Big Root
Adamant Nature/Levatate
252 Hp/252 Atk/6 Def
-Leach Seed
-Substiute
-Power whip
-Crunch
This one of the pokemon I need to replace, as it dosent work well in my team

?Flareon/Charcoal

252 Hp/252 Atk/6 Sdef
-Fire fang

So thats it, any advice would be greatly appreciated. So if any one has even a general idea as to what Pokemon would work well in the last two slots don't hesitate to say anything

just add two pokes in there so your thread doesn't get closed. i don't know too much about uu but i do know that your team could really benefit from the defensive power of shuckle. the last slot is really just up to you.

Right off the bat I see a very large Stealth Rock weak. May want a Blastoise in there somewhere.

Like Travis said, add 2 Pokemon so that it won't get locked.

Thank you for telling me I just changed the thread now

As I said before, you could really benefit from a Shuckle because a well played Swellow could potentially sweep your entire team. Its not a definite counter but it does give you some defenses.

Shuckle@Leftovers
252 HP/180 Def/76 SpDef
Impish
-Knock Off/Body Slam
-Stealth Rock/Toxic
-Encore
-Rest

Thank you for the advice, I will try him out on my team

Or you could just get a definite Swellow counter ... there are plenty to choose from - Aggron, Bastiadon, Probopass, Magcargo, Kabutops - to name but a few.

Oh and Sableye won't work as a lead, as the vast majority of UU leads are fast sleepers who will shut it down before it can do anything.

You might also want to consider investing in a dedicated special wall (Hypno, Grumpig etc.) to make dealing with opposing Nineatles much easier.

would my venomoth work as a starter?

Well it would work better ... however even with base 90 speed Venomoth is still outsped by a lot of stuff, so you might want to consider investing in something speedier.
