Heres my team

Introduction

I have been working on this team for a while and seem to have hit a brick wall of sorts when it comes to improving the team. It is mainly an offensive team but it does have a few, more defensive aspects.

As far as covering each others weaknessess this team is almost perfect:

Immunities:

Normal - 1
Water - 1
Electric - 1
Fighting - 1
Poison - 2
Ground - 3
Psychic - 1

All types are resisted by at least 2 pokemon, in some cases 3 or 4. while only 2 pokemon at the most are weak to any given type.

The Team In-Depth

Cannonball
Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
IVs: 0 Speed
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
- Earthquake

Slight variation on the standard leadZong here.
Stratergy is to get Stealth rock up ASAP then do as much damage with gyro ball and EQ as possible, when down on low health, either explode or switch to vappy or a wish heal.

The 0 Speed IV + Macho Brace + Bronzongs 33 Base speed + a negative speen nature mean its speed is 33. with a speed stat this low gyro ball is amazingly powerful (somewhere near 150 base bower + Zongs STAB).

"Cannonball" because a cannon ball is solid and nearly indestructable, and so is this guy.

Magneto
Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Explosion
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt

Magnezone is my scizor and other steels counter. On average, thunderbolt does more damage to steels than HP Fire, and in many cases, it is a OHKO. HP Fire is a wonderful scizor killer though, far better than thunderbolt. Flash cannon is a reliable STAB move and explosion is for when he is on low health

"Magneto". Its a floating magnet (that isnt actually floating) it just seems to go.

Mirage
Gengar @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Focus Blast
- Substitute
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball

Substitue to absorb damage and brevent status, HP Ice to deal with Mence and other dragons
Shadow ball (STAB) and Focus blast to rack up as much damage as possible.

"Mirage". Many believe that ghosts aren't real, and so are mirages.

Storm
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 224 HP/216 Def/68 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Surf
- Toxic
- Hidden Power [Electric]

This is the bulky aspect of the team. Wish passing is very effective at restoring health to any other members of the team. Toxic cripples pokemon with its constant damage along side SR. Surf is a reliable STAB move and HP Elecric is for gyrados and opposing vaporeon, which otherwise completely wall this set. The Evs give it very even defensive capabilities on both ends of the spectrum.

"Storm" Storm controls the weather and vaporeon can absorb water.

Archangel
Flygon @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 80 HP/252 Atk/176 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge

Flygon has the same typing as garchomp but lower base stats so it hasn't been used much. its ability seperates it from garchomp giving it an immunity to ground where as Garchomp is weak to it. However, since garchomp has been banished up to Ubers, flygon has had a chance to come out and battle.

The moveset is very similar to the infamous garchomp one but he is holding Choice band for the extra power. Outrage for an imensly powerful STAB move. U-turn to bail out if the need arises.

The speed evs allow him to outrun neutral base 90's like lucario and score a OHKO with EQ. Adamant and max evs to generate as much power as possible.

"Archangel". The only X-Man that can fly, my only poke that can fly.

Colossus
Tyranitar @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 6 HP
Adamant nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fire Punch
- Stone Edge
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch

DD TTar is one of my favourite pokemon of all time. Very powerful and ever more so after a DD, also very fast after a DD. Crunch for Gengar and other ghost and psychics that are unlucky enough to face him, and stone edge for a STAB move. Babiri berry to survive a scizor bullet punch. Fire punch to OHKO scizor after i survive the bullet punch

"Colossus" The strongest of all the X-Men. Seemed to fitwith TTar, especially after a DD

---

Rate Away.

Changes in bold

The names have to do with X-Men? I bet i got it right >:D

Crunch over Pursuit on DD T-tar.
U-turn instead of Fire Punch on Flygon
Gengar will be Revenge Killes by a Scizor, so its not a good idea to give it HP Fire. Maybe T-bolt for Gyarados or HP Ice for Mence, your choice.

I think thats it ^^

ok will try these, will go hp ice on gengar as vappy has the only ice move on the team

what about flygon though, dragon claw or outrage?

Outrage is your best option, since the difference in power is very big, and you will see that it matters in some battles. The main problem, is getting locked, which causes you to become steel set-up bait.
You can try Dragon Claw if you want to be able to switch, but i think Outrage is the best option.

Adamant definitly the drop in power is quite significant, and u won't be dishing out the same damage, +1 DD Stone Edge doesn't OHKO Scizor after Stealth Rock, I also reccomend a Babiri Berry, so you can take Bullet Punch from Scizor, in otherwords the set should look like this:

Tyranitar@Babiri Berry
Nature:Adamant
Ability:Sand Stream
Moveset:
Dragon Dance
Aqua Tail
Stone Edge
Crunch
EV Spread:252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP

This is my favorite T-Tar set and I find is the second most effective behind CBTar. Make sure all Infernapes are dead befor you pull off a DD,attack first before trying to set up to take down your T-Tar counter.

Admant+1 T-tar Stone Edge VS 252 HP/148 Def+ Blissey: Damage: 637 - 750
Damage: 89.22% - 105.04%

Jolly +1 T-tar Stone Edge VS 252 HP/148 Def+ Blissey: Damage: 581 - 683
Damage: 81.37% - 95.66%

As you can see Jolly Stone Edge isn't always a KO vs the now standard Blissey set who might survive, and cripple you.
Hope I helped,
-Cnttchtis

Leftovers on gengar as substitute+life orb+stealth rocks+weather really wears gengar down.
Gengar should always be speed+ unless its a scarfgar.
Vaporeon is a poor dragon counter as many of them can OHKO it, so use HP-Electric to take out gyarados who can damage your team bad.

Kabuto Mushi:
Babiri Berry weakens Steel types power, so if Scizor comes into Tyranitar while Tyranitar DD's, and takes Stealth Rock, Scizor goes for the Bullet Punch, but T-tar lives thanks to his berry, but I do think that Fire Punch does round of this set better.
