Team background
The whole idea behind this Team is to play mostly defensively, wear the opposing mons down with Future Sight by Slowking, spread poison and finish them off with double power speedy Hexes, benefiting from previously spread poison. Should this plan fail, there are two setup sweepers, which can win games on their own. I am generally a defensive player, I much prefer slowly gaining advantage over HO, hence this style of Team I am presenting to you and asking for an advice on.

Team building process

Slowking-Galar (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Toxic
- Sludge Bomb
- Future Sight
- Chilly Reception
Zoroark-Hisui (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Illusion
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Trick
- Tera Blast
- Hex
- Flamethrower
I started with this pair as a center of the Team. Slowking is for wearing the opposition down with Future Sights AND thanks to its bulk and Regenerator it can also afford to spread Poison with 100% accurate Toxics. Generally the whole idea was that Slowking weakens them and Zoroark finishes them off. I started with this and wanted to build on the premise. Now why Zoroark specifically? I was looking for the best possible Hex abuser. Specs Dragapult was another potential candidate, but I felt like I definitely need a scarfer. Plus Zoroark can actually outspeeds and kills not scarfed Draga, which is kind of a threat currently.

Toxapex (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Toxic
- Haze
- Recover
Darkrai @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Hex
It wouldn't really be a Poison/Hex spam with just one mon to spread Poison and one, which can dish out strong Hexes. So I started looking for another pair, that could also function on their own. When it came to spreading Toxic I naturally gravitated to Pex. It's another Regenerator allowing it to come to play multiple times, it's defensive and it has Toxic Spikes, allowing to spread Poison passively, not just by clicking Toxic. It also KIND OF (more on this in potential changes) addresses setup sweepers I've been struggling against.
Darkrai is another mon, which packs Hex, but I didn't want to just have another fast Ghost, it would be too much. Darkrai is just a strong, fast all-out attacker, which also happens to be able to spam Hex. It doesn't have to though, often times it's just Nasty Plot and sweep.

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 244 HP / 36 Def / 228 SpD
Careful Nature
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
Gliscor is just broken and it functions as a glue to the Team. It fulfills many roles, setups Rocks, Knocks items off etc. I could just copy Smogon article here, everybody knows how good Gliscor is at this point.

Zamazenta @ Leftovers
Ability: Dauntless Shield
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Defense
- Body Press
- Crunch
- Roar
Last addition to the Team was Zama, because:
1. I needed an answer to Kingambit
2. I wanted another answer to physical setup sweepers (it kind of is)
3. Physical attacker was necessary
4. Similarly to Darkrai it's another one-man army that can win the game on its own if it's allowed, should the Toxic/Hex plan fail

Changes I considered

As I alluded to in my explanation for the Zoroark pick, I have been strongly considering Draga as my STAB Hexer. I though see more advantages in Zoroark. Happy to make this switch if there's something I am missing and you change my mind.

I mentioned I generally have some problems with setup, probably because of the defensive playstyle giving opponents opportunities to click setup moves. Pex is a pseudo-answer to it thanks to bulk and Haze, but the truth is if it switches on a mon that already had a chance to boost, it will most of the time not have a chance to live two hits and click Haze. Thus, I was considering Cloudsire because of Unaware. It also has the same utility as Toxapex, with Toxic Spikes and Recover access.

Closing words
The Team is mostly working. So far I've been just testing it on lower ladder and the results told me it has potential. I am open to all changes, including that I am not dead set on the Hex Spam idea. The only thing I would ideally stick to is the defensive playstyle, I am really not into HO. On the other hand going full stall is also not something I am looking forward to. Other than that happy to accept all suggestions. Thanks in advance!

did you try goldengo with scarf? its fallen out of the meta so people don't really expect it anymore, its a fair bit stronger than zoroark and also outspeed pult. you would miss out on things like deo-s but your far from week to it and gold does well into it anyway
