XY OU Hey guys, I haven't been doing as well without Aegislash..

Since Aegislash had to go, getting to 1600s on Showdown has been hard.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Band

This is for Volt-Turn-Intimidating on heavy hitters with Manectric and things that have boosted with SD. If they have no pokemon left with immunity to EQ, I try to get a free switch in on an electric type move and just go with the EQ because there's not much that can take it banded. If they still have immunities, I usually just Knock Off or U-Turn if I think it's going to be something I shouldn't knock off against. I don't like that he isn't bulkier than he is.

Keldeo @ Leftovers
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Substitute

I find that a lot of players around my level don't realize how fast Keldeo is and how hard it hits even without specs. This is my stall breaker if I can get a switch in without being afraid of toxic or any other status. Handles Bliss/Chansey, Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Gliscor, Heatran. (252 SpA Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 238-282 (71.2 - 84.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery)

Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Flare Blitz
- Brave Bird
- Will-O-Wisp

I know I'm supposed to put an explanation for every Pokemon, but I think people understand Talonflame. I Roost on Heatran switch ins.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Thunder Wave
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off

It switches into water moves and makes the other pokemon switch to something with a fire move letting me bring in Heatran. I like to get t-waves when they switch and use Knock off over Gyro Ball because I'm not really trying to KO with this pokemon, I'm trying to cripple as many pokemon as possible. I've tried the Gyro Ball and Power Whip variants, and with those it never really gets any KOs anyway.

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Earth Power
- Taunt

I always get wrecked with no Air Balloon, so I probably won't take it off for lefties. Roar is so I don't get swept. Switch into a special type move that I resist, and spam Lava Plume hoping for a burn. People try to use their fire move on Ferrothorn and end up activating Flash Fire.

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat

The other half of the Volt-Turn-Intimidate. I usually lead with this because Fire-Ice-Electric is excellent coverage. It outspeeds Greninja and pretty much KOs it no matter type it is after stealth rocks/Life orb damage it has accumulated. (252 SpA Mega Manectric Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Greninja (Neutral Type): 201-237 (70.2 - 82.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO). It's pretty hard for anything to switch into it because STAB thunderbolt isn't nice, and it's probably out-speeding whatever switches in.

That's the main team...

Here are the substitute pokemon I sometimes use when I'm having a particularly bad day I take out Manectric-M and Heatran and add:

Mega Waifu (Gardevoir) (M) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SpD
Calm Nature
- Heal Bell
- Will-O-Wisp
- Wish
- Hyper Voice

This is a support pokemon, not a sweeper, but it still hits hard enough to take down Garchomp, Conkeldurr etc. The def spread is so it can take a hit while trying to burn with will-o-wisp.
252 Atk Garchomp Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 96 Def Mega Gardevoir: 216-256 (63.5 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Haxorus Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 96 Def Mega Gardevoir: 260-308 (76.4 - 90.5%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Technician Mega Scizor Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 96 Def Mega Gardevoir: 300-354 (88.2 - 104.1%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

I usually go for this when they've lost a few pokemon and really they're banking on that Scizor. If it resists Hyper Voice I burn it, then just wish and try to burn the next one on switch in. I find that Wish is kinda slow.

Nick Cannon (Thundurus) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

I feel naked with Prankster-Taunt tbh. It just feels like I'm open to so many shenanigans like ferrothorn, clefable, gliscor etc without it. It was mainly for countering the Swagger-Klefki when I first started to use it.

I hope I explained enough. I think some of the things holding me back are that I don't really have a counter for greninja, and my team isn't really happy about stealth rocks.

Hey, nice team! Here are my suggestions:

Firstly, looking at the nature of your team, I think Scarfed Lando-T over Banded Lando-T may be better as it allows you to take out many dangerous threats more easily, it also allows for revenge killing and Lando-T already has a respectable 145 base attack, try this set:

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf

Next, you should take the 4 HP EVs out of Talonflame as it allows you to switch into SR more easily due to the SR. number being rounded up.

Next, Ferro is a nice utility mom but to allow it to take hits better on both the special and physical side, I suggest a 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD EV spread. Also, Knock Off on Ferro is a nice gimmick but I suggest running Gyro Ball or Protect over it as Gyro does tons of damage due to Ferro's horrible speed and Protect allows for scouting and leech seed stalling.

Lastly, I suggest you run some form of Hazard control, Excadrill or the Lati twins could replace Heatran as I see now real purpose for him as you already have a Stealth Rocker. These are the sets:

Dunno man, on paper this doesn't look as threatening. I'm not going to mention what has been said above, since it's all true. Especially what dEnIsSsS no baton pass plz said. He tweaked your team abit to make it a bit more useful. I think you should keep keldeo as it gives you fighting coverage and a check to Bisharp and Mega Gyarados. You're not birdspam weak so adding Keldeo shouldn't be a problem. However, the lefties set is horrible. Don't use that lol. I'd since you already have heavy hitters on the physical side I'd make Keldeo Ebelt to bait the likes of Chansey & Blissey to deal big chuncks with Secret sword, and if not make them believe you're scarfed which is always handy.
