Gaara (Palossand) @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Water Compaction
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shore Up
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Palossand’s job is to set up stealth rocks and be a hard counter for terrakion.
Colbur berry is there to lessen the damage from dark type attacks like an opposing krookodile.
The Water compaction Ability beats the Aqua tail variants of mega aero.
Max hp to be beefy , 132 Def is there for physical attackers , 124 SpD helps it take 2 HP Ices from mega manectric after rocks.
Shore up is reliable recovery , earth power is nice stab , and toxic is there for what earth power doesn't hit.

Happy feet 4 (Empoleon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Def / 172 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Scald
- Roar
- Protect

Empoleon is the main special wall in this build and it's a check primarina, latias , and hydreigon.
Leftovers because this bird doesn't get roost.
The reason this isn't max SpD is because empoleon is specially bulky enough
And the defense helps it against a dragon dancing altaria that doesn't have Earthquake.
Defog on this because it take less from stealth rocks and is immune to toxic spikes.
Roar is for phazing out threats like suicune or the previously mentioned altaria
Protect for scouting and leftovers recovery.

Pom Pom Style (Florges-Yellow) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell
- Moonblast

Florges is only here to wish pass if palossand or empoleon is too low or use heal bell if any of them get statused , i could have easily made this a sylveon but florges-yellow look cooler imo.
Florges also serves as a secondary special wall if empoleon is too low or you're just weary of a super effective attack.

Rotom-Heat @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 236 HP / 20 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Toxic
- Thunderbolt

Rotom-H is only here to help prevent me getting swept by SD scizor.
This set was just taken off the smogon analysis.
It's also a nice check to moltres as it resists both it's stabs and gets free momentum
Whether it stays in or switches out.
It also helps busting through steel types so that mega altaria can sweep.

Shukaku (Krookodile) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Pursuit
- Stone edge

Krookodile is the scarf user of the team
Dark/Ground are great Offensive Typings which is why i chose it.
Knock off and earthquake are self explanatory
Pursuit is there for the gengars and latias's that try to escape.
Stone edge over super power for mega pidgeot and moltres.

Altaria-Mega (F) @ Altarianite
Ability: Natural Cure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 76 Def / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Return
- Roost
- Refresh

Stall break altaria might just be my favorite set but tbh any altaria with DD and return is my fav set lol.
176 speed to outspeed base 70s
But you’ll need a dragon dance to outspeed a choice scarf magneton
EVs in hp and Def to set up on various mons and the rest are dumped into attack.

~
With all that being said
Its pretty obvious i have a big ice weakness
And that rotom heat is my only defense against scizor.
Mamoswine also tears this team apart because i have no switch ins.
Rotom is a switch in but if the opponent has scizor and mamoswine
Its gonna be tough for me.
Thank you in advance for the advice.

Welcome to Smogon! I'm locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide at least 3 lines of descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at Team Showcase to see the level of detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions and I'll be happy to unlock this.

Edit: Unlocked!

Hiya Kj the Alola Champion interesting team you have built around Palossand. As far as the team goes it is honestly pretty solid as is, but the double fairy on the team just strikes me as odd as they cover the same weaknesses. Amoonguss is also a huge ass pain for you to handle, the team is reliant on Malt to sweep and the only thing that remotely pressures it is Rotom-H. For this rate I intend to keep the initial core you went with being Palo + Empoleon which complement each other really well. There were a few minor changes which I think can go a long way with some of your sets too. With all this in mind let’s just get into it:

Major Changes:

florges-yellow.png
: The reason for this change is because Florges isn't adding much value to this team outside of the obvious cleric + wish support. However, you already have a fairy type on the team. Kommo-o gives you a good Bisharp check on top of Krookodile. Poison Jab is opened up on it to lure Primarina and Malt etc. As I mentioned Amoonguss is a pain which Kommo-o helps with via Overcoat. Taunt allows it to be a nuisance against Stall and Balance, the Dragonium-Z allows it to pressure Tentacruel, Hippo etc.

Minor Changes:

rotom-heat.png
(Move Changes) : So, I recommend you use Pain Split over T-bolt to stay healthy, which allows it to check Scizor and Malt better. I decided to put Leftovers on this instead for the passive recovery, but Rocky Helmet is also an option. In either case you run 232 HP to take Stealth Rock into account. The 4 EVs in SpA guarantee OHKO Celebi after SR dmg. A suggestion is using T-wave which allows Kommo-o and Malt to handle Latias, Maero, Hydreigon, opposing Malt better etc.

770.png
(Spread Change) : The colbur berry variant isn't that necessary anymore. You have plenty of dark resists and checks on this team to help with this. I'd just use Lefties for passive recovery with this spread 252 HP / 164+ Def / 92 SpD to eat a HP [Ice] into Overheat from Manectric after SR dmg.

krookodile.png
(Move Change)
: I suggest using Crunch in the last slot to ease your match-up against Celebi and Latias, especially with both commonly holding a Z-crystal. Both can heavily pressure your team and I think Maero + Moltres is more than manageable.

334.png
(Set Change) : As it stands you don't have a very easy time handling Pokemon like Empoleon and Tentacruel especially when it comes to switching into them. For this reason I suggest Earthquake to handle them better. Optional suggestion but Facade can allow it to be more leniant as a status absorber, otherwise Return is fine. I can't remember what your EV spread is for tbh, but I suggest using an Adamant nature. 160 HP / 164+ Atk / 184 Spe allows you to outspeed Ada Bisharp and base 115s after a DD. It has enough HP to eat two Krook EQs from full.

<Click Sprites for Importable>
I hope you like the suggestions TJ. Mamoswine is still threatening so playing around it with Rotom-H is important especially if it is AoA. Other threats like Nidoking and Celebi have an easy time threatening this team too, but that is just the nature of building around these two Pokemon. The main thing is to just play carefully around a lot of the balance breakers in the tier and putting yourself in a position for Malt to beat most of them after a DD. If you have any questions just let me know ^_^
