Hidden Power Breeding.

OK, so I'm new to Hidden Power breeding, I want an HP Ice Jolteon, so I checked the Guide on Smogon

I found this

x/x/x/x/x/31 + x/x/x/x/x/x -> x/x/x/x/x/31 = 26.5625% = 1:4

I am assuming that this means when I breed a female Eevee with a 31 Speed IV with a male Eevee with a 31 Speed IV, I have a 1 in 4 chance of getting an HP Ice Eevee. I'm probably wrong though.

Could someone explain to me if I am wrong? I am completely new to Hidden Power breeding.

No, that's wrong, the odds are slightly higher than 1/4 as seen above, but the only result you'll get is the one IV as seen above (the 31 IV in Speed). To get HP Ice the idea is to get IVs of the following order - Odd/Even/Even/Odd/Odd/Odd

What that step represents is just the first stage in breeding for Hidden Powers

Could someone explain to me if I am wrong? I am completely new to Hidden Power breeding.
