ok, I need you guys to rate my SS team for a 6v6 Double Battle Tournament. The rules are that you have to have 6 pokemon and only ONE Uber is allowed.
Please help :)
Ok, on to the gang:
Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Impish, Sand Stream
252 HP, 169 Def, 88 Spe
- Earthquake/Ice Fang
- Roar
- Slack Off
- Stealth Rock
This is basically my leading pokemon and physical wall. Once he's out, SR then Roar to cause a little trouble. Slack Off to get back any lost health. I'm not sure whether to go with EQ or Ice Fang for his attack move, or maybe I should use a different move/set all together?
I'm debating whether to move those 88 Spe EVs to Def or Sp.Def.
Garchomp @ Yache Berry
Jolly, Sand Veil
4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang or Stone Edge?
Heavy hitter and can take advantage of Hippowdon and Tyranitar's SS. Sand Veil should help it out and let it survive for a while. Swords Dance up and sweep. Yache Berry to reduce any Ice attacks.
Tyranitar @ Babiri Berry
Adamant, Sand Stream
4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Fire Punch
The team powerhouse. After a couple of DD's, he should be able to take out most threats. Fire Punch will help take out most of the Ice and Grass types out there trying to take him down. hopefully no one pulls a Weavile out until after he sets up. If Scizor is out with Tar, he should be able to help him clean up a bit.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant, Technician
248 HP, 252 Att, 8 Spe
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Super Power
- Quick Attack/ Pursuit
My Revenge Killer. Bullet Punch to pick off weakened foes and will be able to take out most due to SR and SS support. Superpower will let me take out a few switch-ins, Heatran for instance and possible deal a great amount of damage to Blissey then Pursuit on her way out. U-turn and Pursuit will get the boost from Technician and Pursuit should be able to take out Gengar with a OHKO.
I think I should go with Life Orb>CB so he can be more flexible.
Gliscor @ Leftovers
Sand Veil Ability, Impish Nature
252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
-Earthquake
-Roost
-Stone Edge
-Knock Off
Gliscor description: According to Sheshi, this should help me with my Lucario problem. Knock Off to well, knock off any items that my oppoent might have(Choice Band, Leftovers, etc.). If he takes too much damage, I'll Roost it off.
Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Naive, Flash Fire
4 Atk,252 SpA,252 Spe
- Flamethrower
- Earth Power
- Explosion
- Dragon Pulse
Choice Scarfed Heatran. I've tested him twice with this team. First test wasn't so good, but second worked. His Flamethrower came in handy when my Gliscor was asleep and all other teammates fainted. Dragon Pulse and Earth Power for coverage. Explosion as a last resort.
*Sigh* Now this is where I hit a dead end. I'm not sure what other pokemon would work well with this team. I know the team doesn't have to be comprised of just Steel/Rock/Ground types, but what could go in? Who should be swapped out?
Changes will be Bolded.
Edit: Replaced Magnezone with Gliscor and Flygon with Garchomp.
Edit: Scarfed Heatran has replaced Togekiss.
Please help :)
