Hippopotas finds a solid niche in ZU as a Stealth Rock setter, utilizing its physical bulk to check some of the tier's strongest attackers such as Machoke, Klang, and Persian. Sand Stream provides consistent residual damage against foes, shuts down Shedinja, and reduces the healing of Synthesis users such as Ivysaur and Gourgeist-L. Whirlwind allows Hippopotas to phaze away setup sweepers such as Shift Gear Klang, Acid Armor Duosion, and Bulk Up Scraggy while racking up residual damage on foes in conjunction with entry hazards and sand. Alternatively, Toxic cripples switch-ins such as Wartortle, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Shiinotic.

Ice-types such as Silvally-Ice, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Glalie provide offensive measures against Grass-types such as Gourgeist, Shiinotic, Ivysaur, and Gloom that immensely pressure Hippopotas. Partnering Hippopotas with the aforementioned Grass-types can also be beneficial, covering Hippopotas's weakness to Water-types such as Wartortle, Whiscash, and Palpitoad, although Grass-types should be wary of Synthesis's reduced healing. Steel-types such as Klang and Cufant help check Ice-types such as Silvally-Ice and Galarian Mr. Mime. Entry hazard support from Glalie, Maractus, and Trubbish synergizes well with Hippopotas, chipping away at foes phazed by Whirlwind. Special walls such as Lickitung and Dusclops appreciate Hippopotas checking physical attackers for them; in return, they can help against special attackers such as Mr. Mime and Gothitelle that can exploit Hippopotas's mediocre special bulk.

Hippopotas finds a solid niche in ZU as a Stealth Rock setter, utilizing its physical bulk to check some of the tier's strongest attackers such as Machoke, Klang, and Galarian Linnone Persian (gloon’s taunt and knock while taking not much EQ damage doesnt make it the best check, especially after taunt into pshot can really make it fodder to special wallbreakers coming in safely). Its unique mono Ground-typing separates it from other Stealth Rock setters such as Corsola, Palpitoad, and Onix that possess a 4x weakness to Grass-types. Slack Off provides a reliable source of recovery, enabling Hippopotas to remain healthy to consistently check physical attackers. Whirlwind allows Hippopotas to phaze away setup sweepers such as Shift Gear Klang, Calm Mind Gothitelle, and Dragon Dance Drakloak Acid Armor Duosion, and Bulk Up Scraggy while Toxic cripples switch-ins such as Wartortle, Galarian Mr. Mime and Shiinotic.(offensive boosting goth both runs NP over CM and can break hippo, and dd drak isnt worthwhile enough. Added more relevant examples)

Hippopotas finds its place on bulkier builds that can take advantage of its physical bulk and ability to wear down foes with residual damage from Sand. Grass-types such as Gourgeist, Shiinotic, Ivysaur, and Gloom immensely pressure Hippopotas, with Ivysaur and Gloom also being immune to Toxic. Ice-types such as Silvally-Ice, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Glalie provide offensive measures against these Grass-types. Partnering Hippopotas with the aforementioned Grass-types can also be beneficial, covering Hippopotas's weakness to Water-types such as Wartortle, Whiscash, and Palpitoad. Steel-types such as Klang and Cufant help check Ice-types such as Silvally-Ice and Galarian Mr. Mime, forcing them out and preventing them from utilizing Defog or Rapid Spin, respectively.
(As hippo is a physical wall, add a mention to general special walls like Lickitung, Vullaby, Dusclops, and how they appreciate hippo checking physical attackers for them)

Its unique mono Ground typing separates it from other Stealth Rock setters such as Corsola, Palpitoad, and Onix that possess a 4x weakness to Grass-types (This isn't really relevant since Hippo still loses to Grass-types anyways). Slack Off provides a reliable source of recovery, enabling Hippopotas to remain healthy to consistently check physical attackers. Whirlwind allows Hippopotas to phaze away setup sweepers such as Shift Gear Klang, Acid Armor Duosion, and Bulk Up Scraggy (I'd mention this is particularly useful with hazard stacking archetypes, which stacks with Sand chip) while Toxic cripples switch-ins such as Wartortle, Galarian Mr. Mime, and Shiinotic. I'd also mention that Hippopotas ability is particularly handy at shutting down Shedinja and Synthesis from Ivysaur/Gourgeist

Hippopotas finds its place on bulkier builds that can take advantage of its physical bulk and ability to wear down foes with residual damage from Sand (Move this up with Whirlwind discussion). (Condense the last two sentences since you don't need two about Grass-types) Partnering Hippopotas with the aforementioned Grass-types can also be beneficial, covering Hippopotas's weakness to Water-types such as Wartortle, Whiscash, and Palpitoad. (Mention here the Synthesis issue) Steel-types such as Klang and Cufant help check Ice-types such as Silvally-Ice and Galarian Mr. Mime, forcing them out and preventing them from utilizing Defog or Rapid Spin, respectively (Reword this one since they don't really prevent Spin and Defog, but they beat the Ice-types that threaten Hippo). Special walls such as Lickitung, Vullaby (not a special wall) and Dusclops appreciate Hippopotas checking physical attackers for them; in turn, they can help provide measures (fluff) against special attackers such as Mr. Mime and Gothitelle that can exploit Hippopotas's mediocre special bulk.

Overall pretty good, tag me after you implement bc i wanna take another look before the 2nd QC

czim can you take a second look? I added a sentence in the second para about how entry hazard support complements Whirlwind phazing to better support the point made in the first para.
