Hisuian Electrode is an effective pivot in PU thanks to its incredible Speed stat, outspeeding the entire unboosted tier, great STAB combination, and useful utility options. The natural Speed, allowing for no reliance on Choice Scarf, allowing Hisuian Electrode to find a niche over its most direct competitor, Rotom-M. Leaf Storm is generally preferred as Grass-type STAB, allowing Hisuian Electrode to OHKO Specially Defensive Palossand and Mudsdale after slight chip, although Giga Drain can be opted for instead, sacrificing power for no Special Attack drop and marginal amounts of recovery. Hisuian Electrode has a wide variety of options in its final moveslot; Taunt is most common to prevent setup attempts from Pokemon like Scrafty and Florges as well as prevent hazards setting up from the likes of Alolan Sandslash and Uxie. Tera Blast is generally ran with Tera Fire, and allows Hisuian Electrode to deal with Steel-types such as Magneton and Alolan Sandslash as well as Grass-types like Venusaur and Wo-Chien. Finally, Foul Play is a decent option to deal good damage to setup sweepers such as Arcanine. Tera Ghost is a valuable Tera Type utility wise, allowing Hisuian Electrode to spotcheck Normal-type attacks such as Ambipom's Fake Out and Arcanine's Extreme Speed.

Hisuian Electrode finds itself primarily on balance teams looking for a strong form of natural speed control. Hisuian Electrode's ability to directly threaten Pokemon like Mudsdale, Milotic, and Bombirdier and use them as pivoting potential enables partners like Scrafty, Arcanine, and Rhydon to setup and break through teams. In turn, these three can deal with Pokemon Hisuian Electrode can't handle on its own, like Alolan Sandslash and Galarian Slowbro. Other offensive pivots like Galarian Articuno, Bruxish, and Ambipom can create a fast and strong VoltTurn core with Hisuian Electrode that can difficult to stop. Even with Tera Fire, Hisuian Electrode can oftentimes struggle to break through Grass- and Steel-types like Venusaur, Wo-Chien, and Magneton; counters to these threats like Altaria, Pawmot, and Paldean Tauros-F thus make great partners.

Hisuian Electrode is a niche (more than niche now)but effective pivot in PU thanks to its incredible Speed stat, outspeeding the entire unboosted tier, great STAB combination, and useful utility options. Leaf Storm is generally preferred, allowing Hisuian Electrode to OHKO Specially Defensive Gastrodon and Palossand, although Giga Drain can be opted for instead, sacrificing power for no Special Attack drop and marginal amounts of recovery. Hisuian Electrode has a wide variety of options in its final moveslot; Taunt is most common to prevent setup attempts from Pokemon like Scrafty and Florges as well as prevent hazards setting up from the likes of Bronzong and Gligar. Tera Blast is generally ran with Tera Fire, and allows Hisuian Electrode to deal with Steel-types such as Copperajah and Alolan Sandslash as well as Grass-types like Decidueye and Wo-Chien. Finally, Foul Play is a decent option to deal good damage to setup sweepers such as Decidueye and Arcanine. Soundproof allows Hisuian Electrode to reliably switch-in to sound attacks from the likes of Toxtricity, Scream Tail, and Meloetta, (no more soundproof, remove)but Aftermath is a decent alternative to allow Hisuian Electrode to potentially cause chip damage when it is KOd from contact attackers such as Paldean Tauros-F and Staraptor. Tera Ghost is a valuable Tera Type ultility (utility)wise, allowing Hisuian Electrode to spotcheck Normal-type attacks such as Scream Tail's Boomburst and Arcanine's Extreme Speed.

Hisuian Electrode finds itself primarily on balance teams looking for a strong form of speed control. Hisuian Electrode's ability to directly threaten Pokemon like Mudsdale, Paldean Tauros-W, and Bombirdier and use them as pivoting potential enables partners like Scrafty, Arcanine, and Toxtricity to setup and break through teams. In turn, these three can deal with Pokemon Hisuian Electrode can't handle on its own, like Decidueye and Bronzong. Other offensive pivots like Staraptor, Bruxish, and Ambipom can create a fast and strong VoltTurn core with Hisuian Electrode that can difficult to stop. Even with Tera Fire, Hisuian Electrode can oftentimes struggle to break through Grass- and Steel-types like Decidueye, Wo-Chien, and Copperajah; counters to these threats like Altaria, Pawmot, and Paldean Tauros-F thus make great partners.(add something about when/why its preferred over scarf mowtom)

Hisuian Electrode is an some unreliable but effective pivot in PU thanks to its incredible Speed stat, outspeeding the entire unboosted tier, great STAB combination, and useful utility options. Hisuian Electrode has a wide variety of options in its final moveslot; Taunt is most common to prevent setup attempts from Pokemon like Scrafty and Florges as well as prevent hazards setting up from the likes of Rhydon (you force this mon out already, pick a rocker that isn't very threatened by trode) and Uxie. Tera Ghost is a valuable Tera Type utility wise, allowing Hisuian Electrode to spotcheck Normal-type attacks such as Dudunsparce's Boomburst (usually this would be right but trode can run soundproof so another relevant normal attack should be chosen) and Arcanine's Extreme Speed.
