Adamant Nature

[SET COMMENTS]
With Chlorophyll, powerful STAB options in Solar Blade and Close Combat, along with a respectable base 105 Attack stat, Hisuian Lilligant can function as a powerful sun sweeper. It pairs well with the main sun setter, Mega Charizard Y, as it can switch into and threaten Mega Charizard Y’s checks such as Hippowdon, Heatran, and Clodsire; in return, Mega Charizard Y beats its checks like Gholdengo and Mega Scizor, if Hisuian Lilligant lacks Tera Blast. Solar Blade is used for raw power, although Leaf Blade is still an option for consistency outside sun. Tera Blast Fire, especially in sun, gives Lilligant a powerful third STAB option to punish foes that can tank its original STAB combination like Gholdengo, Mega Scizor, and Tera Poison Cresselia. Sleep Powder is an option to shut down checks such as Dragapult or scout for Tera types from Pokemon like Kingambit and Dondozo, which can be used as setup fodders or opportunities to give a free switch to an ally; this also allows Hisuian Lilligant to use Tera Fighting over Tera Fire for more power. Ice Spinner is another option, granting an OHKO on Flying-types that can absorb Hisuian Lilligant's STAB options such as Landorus-T, Tornadus-T, and most Zapdos sets. Hazard support is invaluable in allowing boosted Solar Blade to OHKO Toxapex lacking Heavy-Duty Boots and Mega Scizor, making Great Tusk and Heatran good partners that also passively benefit from the sun. Finally, Hisuian Lilligant is vulnerable to being revenge killed by faster threats once the sun ends, so it appreciates a sturdy defensive core to back it up; Toxapex, Heatran, and Great Tusk can tank hits from and reliably check threats such as Iron Valiant and Mega Lopunny once the sun goes down, while Landorus-T and Rotom-W are examples of pivots that can help bring Hisuian Lilligant in more easily.

[SET] Hustle Breaker

Ability: Hustle
Tera Type: Ground / Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Leaf Blade
- Victory Dance
- Tera Blast / Sleep Powder / Ice Spinner

[SET COMMENTS]
Hustle coupled with Victory Dance can be used to break common defensive Pokemon like Toxapex, Great Tusk, Landorus, Kingambit, and Heatran; Hisuian Lilligant also outspeeds a good portion of the metagame after a Victory Dance boost, allowing it to threaten even common Choice Scarf users such as Urshifu-R, Tapu Lele, and Gholdengo. Its main drawback lies in the decrease in accuracy, which makes it inconsistent and potentially easy to KO. Wide Lens can be used to circumvent this, as the accuracy boost will minimize the chances of a miss. Grassium Z can allow Hisuian Lilligant to dismantle defensive cores, letting it OHKO the likes of Toxapex , Landorus-T, and defensive Tornadus-T and heavily damage Zapdos after a Victory Dance and Stealth Rock damage to potentially open up a hole for another ally like Kartana or Volcarona to clean up. Victory Dance allows it to outpace most of the metagame and fire off powerful attacks. Tera Blast Ground allows Hisuian Lilligant to snipe Gholdengo and Skeledirge for super effective damage whilst also notably beating common Poison-types like Toxapex and Sneasler. Sleep Powder can be considered to shut down foes and set up more easily. Ice Spinner is also an option to beat common Flying-types like Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Tera Flying Kingambit. Icium Z is an option when running this, as it allows Hisuian Lilligant to score an OHKO on Gliscor, defensive Landorus-T, and defensive Garchomp whilst avoiding Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin chip from the latter two. Hisuian Lilligant has trouble setting up, as it is frail enough to be susceptible to the multitude of offensive Pokemon in the tier. Its inconsistent accuracy may also sometimes leave it open to attacks. Thus, dual screens support from the likes of Grimmsnarl and Tapu Koko is beneficial, although it should be noted that the latter summons Electric Terrain, which nullifies Sleep Powder. Entry hazard support is important to score OHKOs on certain Pokemon; for example, Bloom Doom OHKOes Toxapex and Tornadus lacking Heavy-Duty Boots after Stealth Rock damage. As such, Garchomp and Ferrothorn are examples of good entry hazard setters. Finally, Hisuian Lilligant can still be defensively checked by Pokemon like Zapdos, if lacking Ice Spinner, Volcarona, and defensive Gholdengo; allies that can beat these checks include Volcarona and Mega Diancie.

With Chlorophyll, powerful STAB options in Solar Blade and Close Combat, along with a respectable 105 Atk stat, Hisuian Lilligant can function as a powerful sweeper in the Sun. It pairs well with the main sun setter, Mega Charizard Y, in that it can threaten Mega Charizard Y’s checks such as Rotom-Wash, Hippowdon, (washer doesnt check yard) Heatran, and Clodsire, and use them as points of entry setup fodder to pressure opponents. (i dont think you wanna be setting up in front of heatran, so reworded) Solar Blade is used for raw power, although Leaf Blade is still an option for consistency outside sun. Tera Blast with Tera Fire, especially in sun, allows Lilligant to gain a third powerful STAB option that it can use to punish opponents that can tank its original STAB combo, like Gholdengo, Skarmory, (annihilated by +2 cc) Mega Scizor, or Tera Poison Cresselia. Sleep Powder is an option to shut down opposing (redundant) checks (such as?) and use them to set up or get a free switch to an ally, and this also frees up the Terastal, allowing Tera Fighting to be used over Fire for more power. Ice Spinner is another option, granting an OHKO on the likes of Landorus and Gliscor in particular after stealth rocks. onto Flying-types that can absorb Hisuian Lilligant's STAB options such as Landorus-T, Tornadus-T, and most Zapdos. This set requires a sun setter in order to be effective, so Mega Charizard Y is a perfect partner, giving it sun while also beating its checks like Tera Ghost Garganacl, Hippowdon, and Mega Scizor if lacking Tera Blast. (you had a nice section earlier on mega charizard y, i would suggest you take the underlined section and move it up to that earlier section, may need to reword it a bit so it flows nicely) Hazard support is invaluable in allowing boosted Solar Blade to OHKO Toxapex lacking Heavy-Duty Boots and offensive Landorus among other things, and Mega Scizor, (+1 252 Atk Life Orb Lilligant-Hisui Solar Blade vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Landorus-Therian: 374-442 (117.2 - 138.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO) thus Great Tusk or and (you dont have to do this but sounds better i think) Heatran are good partners, both of which also passively benefit from the sun. Finally, Hisuian Lilligant is vulnerable to being revenge killed by faster threats once sun ends, so it appreciates a sturdy defensive core to back it up; Toxapex, Heatran, Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Rotom-Wash are examples of pivots that can help bring Lilligant into the game more easily. (former 3 are not pivots, id reword this to specify that Pex, Tran, Tusk are good defensive teammates while LandoT and Rotom-W are good pivots in a separate sentence)

Hustle grants Hisuian Lilligant a spike to its Attack stat in exchange for accuracy, and coupled with its new move Victory Dance could can be used to check and break common defensive pokemon like Toxapex, Great Tusk, Landorus, Kingambit, Heatran, and more; it also outspeeds much of the metagame after a Victory Dance speed boost, allowing it to threaten even scarf Choice Scarf users like Urshifu-R, S or Gholdengo. common Choice Scarf users such as Urshifu-R, Tapu Lele, and Gholdengo. Its main drawback lies in the decrease in accuracy, which makes it inconsistent and may potentially cause it to miss a crucial attack on a check, leading to it being KOed easily. Wide Lens can be used to circumvent this, as the accuracy boost will minimize the chances of an unlucky miss. Life Orb is not preferred as it leaves Lilligant at high risk of missing a move, whilst also already having the damage it needs from Hustle. (filler) Grassium Z, however, is a potent item choice (sounds better methinks) that can allow Hisuian Lilligant to take out an important chunk of a defensive core, being able to devastate the likes of Toxapex and Landorus-T, or even resists like defensive Tornadus-T and Zapdos, scoring an OHKO on all but the latter after stealth rock Stealth Rock damage, potentially opening up a hole for another ally like Kartana or Volcarona to clean up. Victory Dance is used for the speed boost it grants, allowing Hisuian Lilligant to outpace most of the metagame and freely throw about powerful attacks. Swords Dance allows Lilligant to function as a stallbreaker, effectively invalidating counterplay if it is not outsped as it becomes able to OHKO just about anything with its STABs. Tera Blast in conjunction with Tera Ground allows Hisuian Lilligant to snipe Gholdengo and Skeledirge for super effective damage, whilst also notably beating common Poison-types like Toxapex and Sneasler. Tera Ghost also allows it to beat Gholdengo and Skeledirge, but has the added advantage of hitting flying types neutrally. Sleep Powder can be considered to stop opponents from hitting it and allowing for more set up. Ice Spinner is also an option to beat common Flying-types like Landorus-T, Gliscor and Tera Flying Kingambit. (include Icium Z sentence here, talk abt how it lets you score the ohko on defensive Zapdos, TankChomp without having to take helmet + rough skin chip) However, Hisuian Lilligant has trouble setting up as it is frail enough to be susceptible to the multitude of offensive Pokemon in the tier. Its inconsistent accuracy may also sometimes leave it open to attacks. Thus, dual screens support from the likes of Grimmsnarl or Tapu Koko is beneficial, although it should be noted that the latter summons Electric Terrain which prevents Sleep Powder from taking effect. Hazard support is important to pressure Flying-types and also score OHKOs on certain Pokemon (such as?); Garchomp or Skarmory Ferrothorn (ferro is a more offensively biased setter, skarm & hlilli dont rly slot on the same archetypes) are examples of good setters. Finally, Lilligant can still be checked defensively by Pokemon like Tornadus-T, Dragonite, Zapdos, and Skarmory, depending on the coverage run. Allies that can take advantage of Lilligant’s tendency to lure Flying-types, like Gholdengo, Tapu Koko, or Baxcalibur make for good teammates. (most of these listed mons dont beat you due to Ice Spinner/CC 1v1ing skarm on switch. I think you can keep the Zapdos mention, then find some better examples like defensive Gholdengo and Volcarona, then edit your suggested teammate section to accommodate the new examples)

Mega Charizard Y beats its checks likes Tera Ghost Garganacl, Gholdengo and Mega Scizor if Hisuian Lilligant lacks Tera Blast, and Hippowdon.
cut tera ghost garg & hippo from this, ghold and sciz is fine.
Icium Z is an option when running this, as it allows Hisuian Lilligant to score an OHKO on defensive Landorus-T, Gliscor, and defensive Garchomp, whilst ignoring Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin chip from the latter.
id go for something along the lines of "Icium Z is an option when running this, as it allows Hisuian Lilligant to score an OHKO on Gliscor, defensive Landorus-T, and defensive Garchomp whilst avoiding Rocky Helmet and Rough Skin chip from the latter two." because physdef Landorus-T can often have helmet as well
Hazard support is important to score OHKOs on certain Pokemon; for example, Grassium Z becomes an OHKO Dragapult, Toxapex and Tornadus lacking Heavy Duty Boots after Stealth Rock damage.
cut dragapult from here (+1 252 Atk Hustle Lilligant-Hisui Bloom Doom (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 350-412 (110.4 - 129.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO)
tornT and pex mentions are fine
Finally, Lilligant can still be checked defensively by Pokemon like Zapdos if lacking Ice Spinner, defensive Gholdengo, and Volcarona; allies that can beat these checks include Choice Specs Tapu Koko and Mega Diancie.
id cut specs koko here, instead go for Volcarona as a teammate to cover Ghold since mdia covers volc and zapdos.

1/1 after implement
