Hisuian Sneasel is a sublime setup sweeper thanks to its high Speed and access to Swords Dance, and it can use foes like Hisuian Qwilfish and Brute Bonnet as setup fodder. Even titans like Regirock and Dipplin are among the pool of common physical walls that are weak to Hisuian Sneasel's STAB moves. Throat Chop cuts down Psychic- and Ghost-types like Mesprit, Mismagius, and Froslass, while Trailblaze ensures Choice Scarf users like Passimian and Floatzel won't be safely revenge killing Hisuian Sneasel. Mesprit is an excellent teammate, as it draws in setup fodder for Hisuian Sneasel, like Hisuian Qwilfish and Magneton, and can bring it in safely with U-turn. Other pivots like Lanturn and Whimsicott similarly help Hisuian Sneasel. It especially appreciates teammates that can mitigate its vulnerability to bulky Ground-types like Palossand and Sandaconda, such as Rotom-C and Lurantis, especially if it lacks Trailblaze and Tera Grass.
