Hit and Run
This is my pathetic attempt in creating a volt-turn team. Instead of being a hyper offense team it turned into a balance team. It relies on Feraligatr's late game cleaning or early game sweeping. The team works by having Galvantula and Mega Beedrill wearing the opponent's pokemon and letting the other pokemon tank the returns. Swampert works to weaken Feraligatr's counters, Mandibuzz pivots for a nice switch and Florges supports with heals, cures and hits annoying dark, dragon and fighting types.

Importable
Team Building Process

I asked a friend for a Mega he wanted in UU, and he said Beedrill. After that, I wanted to attempt to create a Volt-turn team. Galvantula was a bug type similar to Mega Beedrill in being fast and being able to keep up momentum, so I wanted these two bugs to make up the core.

In order to keep up the momentum, I needed a pivot. Mandibuzz was the best option I'd thought of at the time, and was also able to run defog to get rid of rocks. At the moment, the team is very weak to rock, but there's only Mega Aerodactyl in UU and Tyrantrum is rarely seen.

Next, I wanted a late game cleaner or a sweeper. This was mostly based on what I believed was op. Maybe Lucario would be a better option, as it resists rock and has priority.

The final step was to bring the team together. Swampert was a good option as it provides rocks, resists rock, somewhat synergises with Mandibuzz with its own physical bulk and can weaken Feraligatr's counters. As I needed special bulk due to the physical bulk of the other two, I chose Blissey as my specially defensive pivot / wall. However, Blissey can't take a physical hit and the large number of draining moves in UU made it a pain to deal with, so I stuck with Florges instead, as it can also deal with darks, dragons and fightings.

Galvantula @ Life Orb
Ability: Compound Eyes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Volt Switch
- Sticky Web
- Bug Buzz
Role: Lead / Breaker / Scout
Galvantula is my main lead as it can scout and back out or set up sticky web. Sticky web support is to break speed ties with other Beedrills and nullify scarf users, as well as allowing Feraligatr to sweep or clean.

Role: Breaker / Scout
Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Protect
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
Beedrill's job is to U-turn out or finish off a pokemon, as its squishiness does not allow it to take a hit. Protect is for the turn it Mega evolves so that it gets the speed. I may change Knock Off to Drill Run as it can't take down things like Coballion and Lucario, which resist all it's attacks.

Role: Tank / Breaker
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Ice Punch
Swampert deals with the physical attacks that Mandibuzz can't deal with, and weakens Feraligatr's counters. It's also the stealth rock setter. I believe that it is the most stable member of the team.

Role: Pivot / Support / Tank
Mandibuzz @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Defog
- U-turn
- Foul Play
- Roost
Mandibuzz is the pivot and allows a free switch in for the squishies whenever possible. Minimum speed is to allow it to properly pivot, though with sticky web out it may be difficult to do so. Mandibuzz is also able to take a spore from an annoying Amoonguss. However, it is unreliable when rocks are up and Gligar may be a better alternative, as it does the exact same thing. However, Gligar does not have a passive heal, can't take a spore and relies heavily on its item, which can be bad in this knock off meta. I may have to use a rapid spinner instead of a defogger as sticky web and rocks are important.

Role: Support / Wall
Florges @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast
Florges was the best option I could think of as a special wall, and fairy typing is OP. Wish allows it to act as a pivot as it can give switch ins without pokemon taking too much damage. I would replace it if I found something better.

Role: Sweeper / Cleaner
Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Ice Punch
Feraligatr can clean up late game with one dragon dance or sweep early with two. I'm tossing up between Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, as Dragon Dance is unnecessary with sticky web, but sticky web is unreliable with the large number of defog users. Adamant nature over Jolly as damage is more important on the D-Dance set. I may change to another sweeper, which will result me in creating a new team most likely. Options are Slurpuff, Haxorus and Lucario.
Threat List

Chesnaught counters of my offensive pokemon, and can spiky shield to wear down Beedrill, weakening it to die to a priority attack. It's heals is too much and wearing is down is a difficult task.

Sucker punch is just a pain. More attention to Honchkrow as I feel it is the biggest threat to this team.

I think the team has a problem with stall, and these walls are really difficult for the team to break, as Beedrill has to constantly switch out.

Beedrill cannot take 2 extreme speeds or one after rocks, and I think E-Speed also 2HKOs Feraligatr. These pokemon put too much pressure on Swampert.

Mamoswine's ice shard and rocks are annoying to deal with. Swampert is the only thing that can deal with it, and Mamoswine is able to get off rocks and chunk Swampert by the time it's gone.

These pokemon are just fast and can probably perform a late game sweep.

These are general annoyances, as they heal and stall.

Mirrors are scary.
Summary
Overall, the threat list is too big for my liking and I would appreciate much help. I may make a proper summary later.
