No Fancy Stuff.
Welcome to my first Rate My Team. It's also my first competitive Pokemon Team! (so go easy LOL)
This team is meant to sweep late game with my two sweepers. All Pokemon, besides my sweepers, are meant to weaken, and help set up for my sweepers, without any fuss - pretty standard. The reason it's called a Hit or Miss Team, is because when battling, either everything goes right, or it goes terribly. It either does extremely well and just as planned, or I lose in a terrible sweep.
So here goes!.

My Lead

Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Endeavor
- Icicle Spear
- Earthquake
This is my starter and has always been. It wrecks a lot of Pokemon who underestimate it. If I know I can take a couple hits, its always nice to get Stealth Rock up. Earthquake and Icicle Spear are my STAB moves and both serve their purpose quite well. Dragon and Flying types don't do well and usually switch out. Focus Sash and Endeavor work great together, although Extremespeed would help haha. I only use Endeavor when I know the other Pokemon is stronger and will KO me. The likes of Life Orb Starmie are dead in two turns. Ice/ground is a decent start and Focus Sash helps with Trick pokemon such as Porygon2/Z.
Bring on the weather!

Politoed @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Perish Song
I use Politoed when I'm about to use Latios's Thunder. Can take Water hits on Mamoswine if I want to keep Mamo alive. Perish Song is to force a switch and for the easy kill if they stay in. Hydro Pump for the super strong STAB especially in Drizzle's Rain. Ice Beam takes care of lots of Dragons, Flying and Grass. HP Grass helps me with all those other opposing Water and the occasional Rock and Ground. I usually use Politoed as a switch in, tank the hit and use a move I know I'll be able to use after I kill the current Pokemon because of Choice Scarf. This Politoed is great for stopping Dragons in their rampage, before DD of course.
The Wallbreaker/Offensive Annoyer

Gengar @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature ( +Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
First of all, Ghost/Poison with Levitate is so awesome. Switch in on a resistant move and kill with perfect coverage. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast is a must. The only thing that bugs me is Focus Blast's lack of accuracy. A miss can really turn the momentum on me. I used to run a Thunderbolt/Drain Punch there but I had enough Electric moves on my team and Drain Punch was not up to par with Focus Blast in terms of damage. SubSplit Gengar is a dream to have, annoying those walls such as Chansey and Blissey. They can't do much when it comes to Status such as T-Wave and Pain Split allows for a smooth kill after some planning. I use this to switch in on Ground moves aimed at my next Pokemon.

The "It's not very effective" Wall!

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs : 120 HP / 136 SAtk / 252 Spd
Nature : Timid ( +Spd / -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Flash Cannon
Firstly, Toxic used to be just a filler until I started using it against Dragons hehe. I would switch in and Toxic and they're attacks, DD boosted or not would do nothing while slowly dying. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are my STAB moves and Hidden Power Ice are for them Dragons, weakened Ground and pesky Bugs and Flying types. Mainly used as a wall against Dragons. The EV's are helpful for walling but any suggestions are welcome.
The Sweepers (Dragons....How original)

Latios @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs : 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Nature : Timid ( +Spd , -Atk)
- Thunder
- Psychic
- Surf
- Draco Meteor

Nature : Timid ( +Spd , -Atk)
- Thunder
- Psychic
- Surf
- Draco Meteor
My special sweeper! EV's for max Speed and Damage possible. Choice Scarf just to out speed other Dragon's specifically other Latios and to hit em with a Draco Meteor. Thunder comes after I set up with Politoed. In my experince, no Fighting Types, except Scrafty, have withstood my Psychic. But I was thinking of putting a Psyshock instead. Surf for coverage since I do use this Latios late game for sweeping weakened Pokemon. I use him when Dragons try to DD and for a fast sweep or weakening if I know I won't be able to otherwise.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs : 252 HP / 80 Def / 16 SDef / 160 Spd
Nature : Careful ( +SDef -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
The end of everyone! Sub/Roost/Dragon Dance are a favourite combo of mine. Extremely powerful Dragonite. This Dragonite is meant to sweep and take hits at the same time. The only times I've died with this Dragonite are from Status and Crits. Ice beams have nothing on him. My favourite sweeper and a reliable one at that.
So that's my team! I hope I get some positive feedback as this is my first team and first RMT. I'm open to suggestions and positive criticism. I don't know too much about OU since I usually play UU so any comments would be helpful! Thanks and I hope you enjoyed my RMT!
