[OVERVIEW]
Ribombee flutters its way into RU as a powerful Sticky Web setter that can use its access to Stun Spore to hinder foes that threaten to clear its Sticky Web, such as Talonflame and Galarian Weezing. Ribombee's ability to outspeed Pokemon such as Cyclizar, Noivern, and Maushold is invaluable, as it can threaten them with either Moonblast or Stun Spore, which cripples them immensely. It is able to leverage its high Speed in order to reliably get up Sticky Web, which can support slow wallbreakers such as Gallade, Armarouge, and Feraligatr in order to sweep effectively. Ribombee can also utilize a wide variety of support moves in order to cripple the opposing team such as Trick and Stun Spore, which is incredibly useful due to its ability to outspeed Pokemon such as Noivern, Maushold and Gengar. Ribombee is mainly held back by its inability to damage Steel-types like Registeel and Empoleon and its difficulty dealing with Talonflame.

Ribombee is an effective Sticky Web lead, enabling slower setup sweepers such as Armarouge, Gallade, and Porygon-Z. Stun Spore can cripple foes that want to set up against Ribombee, such as Bisharp and Fezandipiti. Psychic Noise deals with Galarian Weezing very effectively while also making sure that Ribombee cannot be used as setup fodder by bulky Pokemon such as Calm Mind Reuniclus and Calm Mind Fezandipiti. Focus Sash ensures Ribombee can get off Sticky Web and lets it have a chance to use a second move in order to further cripple the foe. Shield Dust ensures that Ribombee isn't affected by the secondary effects of moves such as Iron Head from Choice Scarf Jirachi in order to reliably get up Sticky Web. Tera Ghost allows Ribombee to act as a temporary spinblocker if needed against Cyclizar and Forretress.
Ribombee fits best on hyper offense teams, where it can lead off games in order to get off Sticky Webs. Ghost-type partners such as Basculegion-F and Mimikyu pair well with Ribombee, as they can spinblock for it and stop Sticky Web from being removed. Defiant Pokemon such as Bisharp and Galarian Zapdos also pair well with Ribombee, as they can punish Defog attempts from Galarian Weezing and Talonflame, though they do have to be careful of the Will-O-Wisp that they usually use. Slow, strong wallbreakers such as Gallade, Armarouge, and Breloom love Ribombee's Sticky Web, as they can use it to outspeed faster foes they might otherwise struggle with such as Maushold and Krookodile.

Other Options
====
Quiver Dance can make Ribombee much more threatening, as not only can it allow it to outspeed Talonflame to ensure it can get off a Sticky Web, it can also be kept around until late game once Steel-types such as Registeel and Empoleon have been dealt with to clean up a team. Tera Blast Ground can be used to deal big damage to the Steel-types that commonly wall it such as Hisuian Goodra and Magnezone. Choice Specs is an option alongside Trick in order to cripple foes such as Talonflame and Empoleon while dealing impressive damage against neutral targets. Choice Scarf can be used alongside a Modest nature to make Ribombee an effective revenge killing option against Galarian Zapdos.
Checks and Counters
====
**Talonflame**: Talonflame is a great check to Ribombee, as it can outspeed it and Defog away its Sticky Web. Ribombee, however, can paralyze it with Stun Spore, which can cripple Talonflame immensely.
**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Registeel and Jirachi can easily take Ribombee's attacks if it doesn't use Tera Blast Ground, and potentially set up on it.
**Defiant and Competitive Pokemon**: Pokemon with the Defiant or Competitive ability, such as Bisharp and Empoleon, are major annoyances for Ribombee and its team, as they can use Sticky Web Speed drop in order to boost and start dealing large damage. Bisharp in particular is incredibly threatening, as its access to Sucker Punch means it can bypass the Speed drop from Sticky Web.
