Hey! I'm LearningLonk!
Hope you can help me and improve my team (sorry for my bad english,I'm not a native english speaker, please forgive me)
This team was pretty consistent (until now) and I won consistantly. (in lower Elo) (between 1300-1400,not really great)
Thanks in advance! <3
Hoopa-Unbound @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Gunk Shot
- Hyperspace Fury
- Drain Punch
- Fire Punch
I wanted to build a team with Hoopa, thats the reason I brought it with me. It is most of my physical damage and a nice Revenge Killer.
Hyperspace Fury is my primary damage option. Gunk Shot is there to kill Fairies like the tapus or clefable. Fire Punch is nice coverage, same as Drain
Punch. I wanted the scarf over band to be faster (obviously),because he and Greninja are the only Pokemon to kill reliably, his Damage is still high and his base Init is quite low.
Tornadus-Therian @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Focus Blast
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Defog
Tornadus-T is my Defoger. This is the mix between Damage and Utility. I had a free Z-Crystal slot and I gave it to Tornadus because I wanted an offensive variant and the All-Out Pummeling is nice for Pokemon like Ferro or Heatran. I always liked the combination between Tangrowth and Tornadus (Because of regenerator),I know this one is offensive but it still worked well for me. U-Turn helps with the Regenerator heals. It is also important as a Kartana counter.
Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Tangrowth gives a solid pivot into Greninja or Tapu Bulu. Sludge Bomb is primarily here for Bulu and Earthquake for Heatran. Hp Ice for Garchomp and Lando-T. Like I said before I really liked the double (in this team triple) Regenerator. Before I mostly played Hyperoffensive and I wanted some tankier stuff because it didn't work well enough and I like this playstyle way more. The Tankiness is nice and grass has some nice resistances (ground, grass, electric, water).
Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 112 Def / 148 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
I guess there isn't much to talk about Lando-T. Lando is my Stealth Rocker and a nice Pivot Pokemon. Hidden Power Ice is there to hit Gliscor, Garchomp, and Lando-T. The Speed investment is there to outspeed Modest Heatran and Timid Magearna. Lando is my lead Pokemon (most of the time) and my electric immunity. Intimidate helps me pivoting into other physical Pokemon, which is quite useful. I could possibly switch Leftovers with Rocky Helmet.
Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Haze
- Recover
- Toxic
Toxapex is one of the most annoying Pokemon in OU and it's tanky. It's a great Stall Pokemon with a very important move,Haze. So many Pokemon wanted to set up on my team and so often Haze killed the sweeps and saved me a Pokemon and the game. Recover and Toxic make it even worse to fight and Regenerator makes it even more unkillable. Toxapex is also a Pokemon that seemed very interesting and it has proven itself
Greninja-Ash @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Water Shuriken
Now we're at the last Pokemon,Ash-Greninja. Ash-Greninja is my most important Special Damage source and 1 of my 2 Sweepers and Wallbreakers.
Specs gives Greninja the power it needs, and with Water Shuriken it also got priority. Normally you would see spikes on Ash-Greninja but I noticed that I didn't really used them, thats why I switched it with Ice Beam which helps against Grass Types like Serperior or Dragons like Salamence,Chomp or stuff like Lando-T,even if it's a worst option logically, but still better than only 3 used moves.
Weaknesses: Fairies. Both my Sweepers are weak to fairies and If both die,the game is over. Things like scarfed Tapu Koko, scarfed Lele or Magearna could kill both of them easily (if the rest is down). Ice and Electric seem dangerous too. Lando suffers hard from Ice and Electric will even hurt Toxapex.

I know this team is far from perfect and I really want to improve it
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
Much Love <3 (Sorry if I did any misstakes, It's 3am and I'm not a native english speaker)
