Just a quick warning,
I'm really new, so I don't know how to crunch numbers and all that. My criteria for mons is "are they generally strong" and "does the typing fit?" I don't know much about strategy and setup. I let people setup too early/much and sometimes I get swept to oblivion (speed-boosted dragapult, gouging fire, I think ogerpon lmao) with some slower decks, so I try to find the fastest ones possible. Just looking for some advice (that last spot is tricky for me). Raging Bolt, Lycanroc, and Incineroar are the ones I struggle with most. Thank you!

Raging Bolt
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Thunderclap
- Thunderbolt
- Dragon Pulse
- Hyper Voice
I don't love using raging bolt. It's pretty strong, but it's kind of slow. Usually, my last mons are raging bolt and lycanroc because I just don't use it much. I hate thunderclap more and more every time I use it.
Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Synchronize
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic Terrain
- Draining Kiss
- Calm Mind
- Expanding Force
I needed a strong Mon. It probably helps with typing, but I mostly just thought about pure power. I have trouble keeping it alive to setup calm Mind/psychic terrain. Once it gets going, it's insanely strong though.
Lycanroc @ Life Orb
Ability: Keen Eye
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Trailblaze
Kind of looking to replace him. Maybe I just need a better moveset, but even with Lycanroc's speed, it's impossible for me to use.
Iron Jugulis @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Air Slash
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
Just so strong lmao. I love how fast iron jugulis is with scarf, but I feel like it limits what I can do with it. maybe I'm not used to choice items but its lost me a few battles.
Ogerpon-Wellspring (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Power Whip
Ogerpon-wellspring's dual-typing gave me trouble in my previous battles, so I added it an it's really been helping me as my lead. Swords dance and STAB moves help me OHKO lots of normally bulky mons.
Incineroar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 124 Def / 132 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roar
- Will-O-Wisp
- Fake Out
- Parting Shot
I was running feraligatr with aqua Jet for priority, but I needed to cover my typings better. I wanted incineroar because it helped me complete my electric-grass-water-fire core. I wanted a priority, so I went with fake out. I've been told that I should run incineroar as a setup and switch Mon, but im not good at it. Maybe I should make it more of a sweeper?
