tangela needs to stay
tangela needs to stay
Offensive swampert is the right fit on your team, but your evs are more offensive than what I'd call an offensive pert. The standard offpert has 240 hp evs while yours has 204. It's not that much less, but notably you recover less with lefties, I think the recommended set is optimised for lefties recovery. I'm also not sure what your attack evs accomplish? Usually you prefer to go for some speed to outspeed mons like blissey, bulky tar.Is offensive swampert bad? Also no, blaziken doesnt need to stay only mons that i want to stay on the team are jirachi tangela and zapdos. I tried charizard and it worked lot better than blaziken, thanks.
Your team would appreciate a spinner, but you definitely require a rock resist, so I'd keep pert. Starmie is a good cm pass recipient itself though. The only mon it could replace really is tangela though, so I think you'll have to live with not having spin and instead just need to play more aggressively. Also would be it a good idea to swap swampert for starmie to get a rapid spinner since 4 of the mons are grounded?
Unironically, if you enjoy Tangela, I would suggest getting games down in ADV PU either through the ruins of Alph room or the PU room. Tangela is much more viable there than it will ever hope to be in OUhttps://pokepast.es/fccd4d9f2f2ac4cf

how hard is it to get a game?Unironically, if you enjoy Tangela, I would suggest getting games down in ADV PU either through the ruins of Alph room or the PU room. Tangela is much more viable there than it will ever hope to be in OU
that lil guy sure is sweeping :)
I'll try using giga drain + hp fire that seems better. Yeah i got trapped already lol. If had giga drain i wouldnt have needed the leech seed, probably.that lil guy sure is sweeping :)
spectating this, I think there's also some consideration to go into the tangela set. most notably, you might want to run hp fire over leech seed and/or giga drain over solar beam. mono grass coverage is kinda terrible, if you look at the opposing team you can tell how hp fire would greatly simplify the sweep vs meta, celebi, zap. solar beam is fine because tangela needs all the power it can get, but giga drain is less conditional than solar beam. a good player might be able to switch tar in on solar beam and "trap" tangela in solar beam's charge turn. that said, I do like leech in a vacuum, just 4 move syndrome. it did help you sweep in the replay so idk
edit: lol I didn't even see that you ended up losing lmao, just closed the replay when you had the clear win. heads up: if you clicked sunny day vs pert, you would have outsped and ohko'd on the last turn and won
beat up is very weird in gen 3, its damage is calculated based on base defense. this means that beat up deals over 50% to blissey when all members of your team are alive. in essence it's a focus punch that doesn't need sub, but can't hit lax or tarAlso i dont use charizard often, what is beat up supposed to do? If its coverage agaist psychics i dont think it would be better than just clicking fire blast.
So its just anti blissey move?beat up is very weird in gen 3, its damage is calculated based on base defense. this means that beat up deals over 50% to blissey when all members of your team are alive. in essence it's a focus punch that doesn't need sub, but can't hit lax or tar
yep, quite literally its only use. charizard rose to prominence once people realised it's a special attacker that blissey cannot switch into, meaning it doesn't require dugtrio support and fits perfectly on mixed offenseSo its just anti blissey move?
oh i see why people use it over mence now, other than being a fire typeyep, quite literally its only use. charizard rose to prominence once people realised it's a special attacker that blissey cannot switch into, meaning it doesn't require dugtrio support and fits perfectly on mixed offense
