ORAS OU How Deep Is Your Love ORAS OU Chatot Team ( Peaked 1513) This is HEAT!!

You guys may know me or my alts (Arc V Shun/The New Yorker) on PS and i have a perfectly good grasp on the meta and whats viable/not. Hear me out tho, I wanted to make a Chatot team because imo Chatot can be a fun mon to use. I went 10wins 2losses with this team (Not even joking) and i felt the need to share it with you guys. Here Goes

Chatot (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Tangled Feet
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Chatter
- Boomburst
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power [Ice]
I decided to run a sash set on it because this thing us frail. Max speed and Sp. Atk b/c we need it and modest because 92 bass speed inst outspeeding anything. Chatter is to confuse my opponent ans STAB also i can parafuse my opponent sometimes if Azelf gets his Twave off. Boomburst is my other STAB because its hits quite hard. Heat wave to kill Ferro and scizor because i can. HP ice to kill Gliscor,Lando,Dnite, ETC. I mainly utilize him after a teammember died because im sashed and i can just revenge kill. If at some point my opponent would get rocks and i cant stop him i immediatly switch chatot in because he needs his sash. Also i cant tell you guys how many people EQ this thinking its not a flying type lol.

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Taunt
- Explosion
- Thunder Wave

Azelf is probably the most Clutch mon here. because he sets up my rocks, stops hazards from getting to me and paralyzes and sometimes kills or severely damages things by exploding. Max Speed for Rocks and Max HP to take hits.I mainly run twave because if my opponent is smart and leads with lets say idk GENGAR i can twave it and now i crippled something.
breloom_by_pokemon3dsprites-d9jqi7y.gif

Breloom (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Mach Punch
- Rock Tomb

Ahhhh Breloom. This guy is probably the biggest MVP of the team. The set is standard but it works amazing. Breloom+Azelf form such an amazing Lead core. Spore puts things to sleep and i can just kill things.

Keldeo-Resolute @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Hidden Power [Bug]

I picked Keld here because it just seemed nice at this point and i was like"HEY, I haven't used this in a while". Scarf is to outspeed things. Scald is to burn,SecretSword is to Kill things,Icy wind is to slow things down if breloom didnt already, and HP bug is for coverage against slobro, latias etc.
310-mega.gif

Manectric-Mega (M) @ Manectite
Ability: Lightning Rod
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flamethrower
- Hidden Power [Ice]

At this point i was like, " cool i still have space for a mega but i font know which one to use" So at this point i just picked Mane because i haven't used this in a while either. SURPRISINGLY it worked out pretty fine. Its pretty standard you can see the evs and the moves are pretty much STAB+Coverage
sprxym645t-gif.50412

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Rock Slide
- Knock Off

At this point i was like lets just add a Lando to make it seem more "Meta" and yeah. Its standard scarf lando and it forms a perfectly good volt-turn-double intimidate core w/ Mane. U-turn is for predicting switches and stuff and so is knock off. EQ for stab and rockslide for damage.

IN CONCLUSION: I still cant believe a team with 3 Focus Sashes and 2 scarfers would work but it surprisinly does. The trick is to be able to read your opponent ACCURATELY and if you suspect there gonna get rocks up and you wont be able to stop it just send in chatot. The main things i struggle with are really defensive cores and Hippo+Skarm. I will everything into consideration except "Don't use Chatot He's trash" or some other silly comment like that. Also Ferro is annoying to deal with.

Hello, Ebrake! I see the lack of replies on your thread, so I'm here to help you! Btw congratulations on that win/loss ratio! Chatot seems to help your team, I think.

I think that your team struggles against stall, simply because you have no wallbreakers. Therefore, it's probably a good idea to give your Keldeo Choice Specs over Scarf. Having two scarfers is redundant, and with Specs, Keldeo has a better matchup against stall. Specs Keldeo can be a monster, because it is pretty hard to switch in.

Unfortuately, Mega Venusaur can wall your entire team; Breloom can't Spore it, and Chatot cannot 2HKO it with Boomburst. If you're tired of using Chatot, (PLEASE) replace it with Tornadus-t (well, you can keep him if Chatot's the star of the team). If not, then you might wanna replace Mega Manectric with another Mega who can obliterate Venusaur. Here are many Megas who can stop it: Mega Alakazam, Charizard Y, Gardevoir (eh, maybe :/), Medicham, Metagross, Pinsir, Gallade, and Pidgeot. However, my best suggestion is to replace Mega Manetric with Mega Metagross, because it can switch in to Mega Gardevoir, who can otherwise obliterate your team. Plus, you already have Breloom to check Slowbro, and Mega Metagross can lure and 2HKO Slowbro with Grass Knot.

You have THREE Pokemon who are sashed... well ok. I guess Chatot and Azelf need them, but Breloom...maybe? Focus Sash slightly improves your matchup against offense, but entry hazards can break them (that's not very good). Heatran can easily set up Rocks on Chatot and Manectric, and bulky Garchomp can easily set up Landorus-t. You can keep the sashes on the first two Pokemon , as you say they're leads. However, I suggest that you either replace Breloom's Focus Sash with a Life Orb or have a hazard remover, but it's not that easy to fit in your team. You can replace Breloom with Thunderbolt Starmie, but it leaves you more vulnerable to Bisharp, although Keldeo is a relatively good check to it.

That's all the suggestions I have! They may not solve all your problems, but it's a start!
