How does Pursuit work?

Its usually a 40BP Dark Physical move, but if you use it when they decide to switch out their pokemon, it becomes a lot more powerful.

Its useful in wall situations, eg they have Blissey out, you send it Weavile, it gets scared and they select to withdraw it and you select Pursuit and BAM a sizeable chunk of damage.

Will it be easy to breed a quadruple flawless koffing? I hatched a box full of koffings yesterday and None even had double flawless. T_T

I am breeding an Impish Ditto w/ Everstole 31 HP IVs with a Koffing male with 17/31/27/27/31/31 IVs. Am I doing this right?

You really ought to take these questions to the simple question thread, anyhoo a quadruple flawless is pure luck if I remember dp breeding right (I don't have time for it :( )

Remember 1 parent passes 2 IV's and the other passes 1. By simple logic you can see passing three 31s is possible, but a fourth would simply be randomness.

Yeah, simple questions simple answer thread. Anywho...

Pursuit has 80 BP if the opponent switches out, and it hits the pokemon that has switched out, not the one that came in. If it doesn't hit a poke that switched out it has 40 BP

As for breeding...

is a good guide, the other parts of it are linked within, it answers almost every question about breeding I think

On the subject of pursuit, is it true that if you use Pursuit with a Choice item and they switch out, you get to choose your next move? Something I read somewhere, I think it was Serebii.
