SS OU Hydreigon core [First team I've made that I think works well]

Hey guys, I've posted a few teams before, but they were hot garbage. I kinda learned how to build a decent team though, so I came up with this.

[CORE] Hydreigon

So, I wanted my core pokemon to be a cool pseudo, so I chose hydreigon. It's pretty much the main sweeper and wallbreaker of my team, and can take down most things after buffing itself with nasty plot one time. Substitute helps deal with more dangerous opponents, dark pulse is there for STAB and flash cannon helps against fairies and ice pokemon , although it's not too powerful, it's still useful, however I still chose to have another steel type on the team, this being corviknight. It's got leftovers on it, too.

MOVESET, EVs ETC.

Ability: Levitate
Happiness: 160
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Substitute
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon

CORVIKNIGHT

Corviknight is in the team mostly to keep fairy pokemon in check and because it can hit most things neutrally. It has bulk up, so it can also be used as a wallbreaker, although I often prefer to use hydreigon. It has iron head and brave bird for STAB, and it can also roost to heal itself up. Overall, I haven't gotten too many chances to use it but it performs pretty well. Its holding some leftovers.

MOVESET, EVs ETC.

Edgy Pidgey (Corviknight) @ Leftovers
Ability: Mirror Armor
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 136 SpD / 88 Spe

TOXAPEX

Toxapex is an absolute beast, and I chose to put it on the team because I was afraid of being absolutely pummeled by Darmanitan. It can stop pokemon from snowballing or setting up agains it with Haze, it can Toxic other pokemon, stay healthy by using Recover and burn people with Scald. It's been one of the strongest members of the team and does its job perfectly. It's holding a black sludge.

MOVES, EVs, ETC.

Purple Haze (Toxapex) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Recover
- Haze
- Toxic

CLEFABLE

I wanted a pokemon that could keep any fighting or dark types at bay, and since clefable suddenly became OU, I decided to use it. Moonblast is there for STAB, Flamethrower's there for coverage, and Thunderbolt is there to deal with water types that Rotom-H can't take out. It also has Stealth Rocks on it, because most hydreigons that I switch into with clefable will switch, giving me a free turn to set up some rocks. It's holding a life orb.

MOVESET, EVs, ETC.

Yasuho (Clefable) @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Stealth Rock

DUGTRIO

I chose this pokemon because I felt like I needed a ground type, since two of my pokemon are weak to electric types. Dugtrio is also very useful at trapping damaged foes and finishing them off, and can also screech to lower defenses, although it doesn't get to do so too often, as it's quite frail. It runs Earthquake for STAB, Reversal because it's glassy and holds a focus sash, Screech to weaken the opposing pokemon's defenses, although, as previously mentioned, this often isn't needed, and Sucker Punch for priority. As previously mentioned, it's holding a focus sash.

MOVESET, EVs, ETC.

Dodrio (Dugtrio) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
Shiny: Yes
Happiness: 160
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Reversal
- Screech
- Sucker Punch

ROTOM-HEAT

Rotom-H.png

I wanted a pokemon that could paralyze and generally annoy opposing pokemon, and I also felt like I needed a fire type to counter any ice types that try to get take out hydreigon, but also to counter ferrothorn, so I decided to use a Rotom-H on my team. It runs Volt Switch to get away from tricky situations, Overheat for STAB, Thunder Wave to punish and annoy attackers and Will-O-Wisp for the same reason. It holds heavy duty boots.

MAJOR WEAKNESSES:

Dragapult has been very annoying to deal with, but besides Dragapult I haven't noticed many major weaknesses, however, I'd like to note the only Dracovish user I've run into wasn't running a choice band/scarf set, so I don't know how big of a threat a choiced dracovish would be. Toxtricity swept my team one time, as my Dugtrio had been taken out earlier, but it's not a threat if I can trap it fast enough. Hazards have been a major problem at times, too.

NOTES:

I have just began playing OU, so even after playing with this team for a while, I still have some relatively low ELO and therefore may not have faced the most competent of trainers, and maybe my team could be easily swept by people running better teams.

English isn't my first language, and although I'm pretty confident I can speak it well enough (Most of the content I watch on youtube and most of the games I play are in english) I might have messed up with the spelling in some parts, so please ignore that.

Anyway thx.
