Completed Hydreigon Doesn't Learn Dragon Fang??

Come on, the thing has three mouths. It should be more capable of using the move than most other Dragon-Types.

Anyways, I just realized that we never wrote down any standardized rules for "Beginner Battle" anywhere... I'll just make some rules up right now. If you guys want different rules, let me know.

On HydrogenHydreigon's side, the fully-evolved Mimikyu is definitely a huge advantage. However, Water-Type Arrokuda might have a tough time against Fang-Foe's two Grass-Types and one Storm Drain user.
As for the other side, FangFoe will probably need to watch out for Snugglow, who can strike both Rowlet and Sewaddle super-effectively. And if that's not enough, Mimikyu is going to be soaking up hits like a champ... it'll be a tough battle for sure.

Using shadows as cover, Rale stealthily circles around Disguise the Mimikyu. A single swift swipe from his talon severes the Mimikyu's head at the base of the neck. Normally, that would spell the end of a battle, but in this case it's only the beginning -- a vengeful hand of pitch-black shoots out from Disguise's stump neck and grabs Rale tight! It looks like the Mimikyu is trying to pull the Rowlet into its own body! By slashing at Disguise and beating her with his wings, Rale is able to squirm out of Disguise's grip, but it seems that the rough handling has left Rale worse for the wear.

Unfortunately, verbal threats are ineffective when coming from the weaker party. Disguise holds all the leverage in this negotiation, and her brutish attacks prove that she isn't afraid to use it. Sandy switches strategies, softening her attacks in a plea for mercy. However, this only seems to provoke Disguise further, as the bloodthirsty Mimikyu lashes out with ever-increasing fervor.

As expected, Mimikyu has knocked a huge dent into FangFoe's team. However, its low HP and EN mean that it won't be in fighting shape for much longer.

Boshi summons spurting geysers of mud that splatter onto Spear's eyes. The blinded fish veers off course with his attacks. Yet, his final and most devastating attack still lands true! Razor-sharp jaws latch onto Boshi's slimy body and bite down with such intensity that Spear's own gums begin to bleed. By all means, it's an absolutely reckless and foolhardy method of attack. But when you have as substantial a lead as HydrogenHydreigon does, sometimes it's best to force the fight to progress with bold aggression.

Spear keeps biting and biting, but it's hard to keep morale up when your face is coated in icky mud. Then again, Boshi isn't looking too great either -- the drawn-out battle has definitely taken a toll upon his Energy. Will Boshi be able to keep up the offense next round, now that Spear has cleared the mud out of his eyes? Or will he spend precious Actions trying to recover his Energy?
