SS OU HYPER OFFENSIVE - Fixing a heavily used comp

1. Introduction
Hey, I'm Zym, and this is the team I've used for almost a month now on a daily basis. I have hovered around 1250-1350 elo for almost this entire year, and have resorted to seeking help from others to help elevate my game to the next level. I have struggled figuring out what is the best possible picks for my team, constantly making small changes.

2. Team Analysis

Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Taunt
- Scald

Tapu Fini is the staple to my team composition, and is usually the first mon I send out. I love using Tapu Fini as a way to deal with mons others often start with such as Landorus-T and Skarmory, as well as health mons such as Clefable and Blissey with Taunt. If I do not send out Tapu Fini first, or I swap it out, I usually swap it back in to predict fire or dragon type moves. I also commonly use Misty Surge as a way to predict status moves.

Torkoal @ Air Balloon
Ability: Drought
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Lava Plume
- Rapid Spin
- Solar Beam
- Stealth Rock

Although Torkoal seems a bit out of place in this team, he is a recent addition in order to deal with my struggles with Ferrothorn and sweepers with Earthquake, hence the air balloon. Even if he gets one shot, the Drought helps Tornadus-T to get rid of pesky Grass or Steel types with Weather Ball. I have Solar Beam on Torkoal to deal with Water types, as the only other mon on my team that can deal with Water types is Zeraora.

Tornadus-Therian @ Choice Specs
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Dark Pulse
- Psychic
- Weather Ball

Tornadus-T is my main sweeper, and I especially wanted it on my team in order to get rid of other sweepers such as Volcarona, Urshifu-Rapid-Strike, and more with Air Slash. Dark Pulse and Psychic are present in order to make up for lack of coverage on other teammates, and upon switch in from Torkoal, Weather Ball provides excellent sweeping capability against mons like Ferrothorn, Corviknight, Skarmory, and more.

Nidoking (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Earth Power
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

Nidoking is on my team in order to make up for lack of certain types on my team, explaining its moveset. It's decently fast, able to one shot mons like Dragonite, Zapdos-G, and Garchomp, and is able to take hits from Water types and retaliate with Thunderbolt due to Drought. I usually take out Nidoking last to sweep the last few mons of the battle, due to it being extremely fragile at the beginning of the game before knowing how the opponent's team works.

Melmetal @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Protect
- Double Iron Bash
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Melmetal is the only "tank" in this composition, and has Toxic-stall build. I use Melmetal as a way to deal with start-game types such as Grimmsnarl and Ninetales-A, and also a switch out tank for every other teammate. Even if the opponent predicts that I will switch out to Melmetal, he can tank super-effective moves fairly easily and can at least get a Toxic and Protect down before switching out or dying.

Zeraora @ Expert Belt
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Fake Out

Although Fake Out seems like an odd addition to someone as fast as Zeraora is, I have found the flinch on fake out extremely helpful for not only prolonging Toxic stall, but also dealing slight bits of damage to opponents when I know they will switch out to Ground types. The fake out damage especially helps against mons such as Gastrodon and Swampert, as Grass Knot will more likely kill.

5. Extra
Thank you for reading my post! Any comments on changes will be appreciated, no matter how small.

A couple of small improvements you could make to your sets:

:ss/melmetal:
Melmetal @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 244 SpD / 12 Spe
Adamant
Nature
- Double Iron Bash
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Protect

Melmetal's physical bulk is so enormous that you don't really get anything by investing EVs into it, like Blissey's special bulk. You are much better off with this spread, which gives you much more attacking power while still taking physical hits fine, and the special bulk is actually important to take hits like Dragapult's Shadow Ball better. The speed is to outspeed Toxapex.

:ss/Zeraora:
Zeraora @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
- Toxic

Knock Off is extremely important for Zeraora to hit Dragapult, as outspeeding it naturally is one of Zeraora's main niches in the tier. It also punishes the Ground-types like Swampert, Landorus-T, and Garchomp that want to switch into it, as all are worn down extremely quickly once their items are gone. Lastly, Fake Out is bad because it's so weak - you just let stuff in like Garchomp and Rillaboom for free. Instead, try Toxic, which further limits Ground and Grass-types. While Grass Knot's coverage on Swampert looks nice, it leaves you helpless against Landorus-T and Garchomp, both of which are way more common. Finally, Heavy-Duty Boots are usually preferred as Zeraora hates chip damage from hazards, since it needs to pivot in and out a lot.

:ss/tornadus_therian:
Tornadus-Therian @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hurricane
- Focus Blast
- Weather Ball

Choice Specs Tornadus-T is bad because it needs to switch moves to be able to break. Try this Nasty Plot set, because it is way more effective at breaking stuff now your opponent can't pivot around its coverage. While Air Slash's accuracy is nice, Hurricane is needed to get important KOes, and Focus Blast is usually recommended to hit Tyranitar and Heatran harder (Dark Pulse and Psychic are useful against nothing.)
