Hyper-Offensive..The Usual.

Hi everybody, this is a team that I put together in a limited amount of time and it worked out very well. So rate the RMT and tell me about any necessary changes.. well you know the drill lol.

Mienshao @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Hi Jump Kick
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Aerial Ace
Mienshao is nearly always a my lead even when I'm unsure as I can always switch out with U-Turn. It's the standard Shao with scarf and the stone edge/aerial ace for anything that resists Hi Jump Kick. I tried giving Reckless a shot but it simply doesn't cut it as well as Regenerator.
645-therian.gif
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Toxic
Landorus-Therian has just become one of my favorite pokemons at this moment. He's usually my other lead aside for Mienshao. It sets up Rocks, and U-turns out if the situation isn't looking favorable. Earthquake for STAB and Toxic for all those stall teams.
646-black.gif
Kyurem-Black @ Choice Band
Trait: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
- Outrage
- Fusion Bolt
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Dragon Tail
Until this team I hadn't really experimented with Kyurem-B. I wanted to try out the Banded Set and quite frankly this thing decimates anything that doesn't resists its Outrage. I'm not too sure whether or not I should go with Scarf/Band so any help on that would help out. HP Fire covers Ferrothorn/Forretress.. as it comes off a reasonable 120 Sp. Attack. I know Dragon Tail seems weird on a banded set but it really helps sometimes.
637.gif
Volcarona @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Hidden Power [Ground]
Volcarona is my special sweeper. After two Quiver Dances or one if I don't get a chance, this thing can easily sweep late game. Despite it's huge weakness to Rocks, it can still rip through teams. Bug Buzz/Fiery Dance for dual STAB coverage and HP Ground specifically for Heatran.
563.gif
Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Trait: Mummy
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Haze
- Pain Split
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
Cofagrigus is an off pokemon. This thing is my spin blocked and with reasonable defenses/sp. d it's capable of taking hits and allowing me to pain split back up. Haze has just become a must have considering the amount of sweepers in the metagame currently. Shadow Ball for STAB and HP Fighting for what Shadow Ball doesn't hit.
212.gif
Scizor @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- U-turn
- Superpower
This team really lacked priority and what's better than the usual CB Scizor. Volcarona and Scizor are my late game sweepers. Both of them really help clean up what ever is left. Pursuit for Latios/Latias.. Superpower for coverage (Ferro, TTar) and BP is just to hit anything hard.
Thanks.
Importable:

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate

Hi there.

Since you're using a hyper offensive team I'm not worried about what your team can't switch in on -- you seem to have a good variety of threats as well as some bulky yet strong attackers like Landorus and Scizor who can wear your opponent's down. However, your opponent does have many opportunities to set rocks up when you use this team due to the nature of choiced users. It wouldn't be much of a problem if your team could take rocks reasonably well, but since you are running both Kyurem B and Volcarona, I'd suggest you get a spinner instead of a spin blocker, because Volcarona absolutely hates stealth rocks. Not to mention, Cofagrigus is noticeably weaker than the rest of your teammates -- and on a very aggressive team such as this one, you are best using something a bit stronger.

I suggest mixing up your sets a little bit. Instead of using Choice Scarf on Mienshao, think about running Life Orb to properly abuse Regenerator while having a plethora of attacks to choose from. Life Orb even helps you go mixed so you don't get completely walled by Landorus-T thanks to HP Ice. Heck, even Grass Knot works great especially against Stall teams because it messes with common responses to Mienshao such as Hippowdon and Jellicent.

I'd argue that HP Ice on Landorus would be a better help against stall teams if only because Gliscor would wall your Landorus completely without it. Replacing Toxic with HP Ice allows you to hit Gliscor without you needing to switch out, and provides extra pressure due to the added coverage that HP Ice gives. Maybe Toxic would be good for bulky waters and Rotom, but Jellicent can't take an Earthquake on the switch in, and you can predict the switch to a bulky water and U-turn out to something that threatens it greately; namely, Kyurem B.

A decent idea for your Kyurem B is to use Sleep Talk over Dragon Tail to tank the sleep from Breloom if it ever tries to Spore you. Your momentum is absolutely crippled with sleep, and using Sleep Talk on an empty slot would give your team a sleep absorber -- and a very potent one at that. You don't need to worry about coverage, I don't think. When you have something as ridiculously strong as Kyurem B's Outrage, you can pick off many weakened steel types, and the ones who aren't weakened are merely setup fodder for Volcarona. As for the Scarf/Band issue, you can run Scarf if you feel the lack of speed is hindering you. It would definitely work better against Offensive teams. If you play with this team on the ladder and feel like you lose to Offense more than Balance/Stall, go with Scarf.

Volcarona would have an easier time sweeping if you ran Lum Berry over Leftovers. The last thing you need is a paralysis to stop your sweep in its tracks, and it allows you to set up right in the face of Ferrothorn without fear of Thunder Wave.Especially with a hyper offensive team, you don't want anything in your way of a sweep. Forget about switching and just wreck shit up.

For your Rocks problem, I recommend you use Starmie with Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, and Rapid Spin. This Starmie hits hard and fast, and gives you the Rapid Spin that Kyurem B and Volcarona need to thrive. Its 115 speed helps against pokemon like Keldeo who are rather fast and annoying threats to your team otherwise. Cofagrigus may provide some bulk to your team, but I don't know if it's necessary considering how aggro this team is already. Just keep the ball rolling with Starmie. Spin away what hinders your team, and let things run wild.

Starmie @ Life Orb
Timid 252 Satk/252 Spe/4 HP
Hydro Pump/Ice Beam/Rapid Spin/Thunderbolt

Mienshao @Life Orb
Naive 232 Spe/252 Atk/24 Satk
HJK/Fake Out/(HP Ice/Grass Knot)/U-turn

And putting Sleep Talk/Dragon Claw over HP Fire and Dragon Tail on Kyurem, as well as Lum over Lefties on the Volc.

Good luck with your team, hope I helped. =)

Hey iiEvOL, nice team. Mienshao is a really cool and underrated Pokémon, so it's cool to see people using it. Pairing it with powerful threats like Kyurem-B and Volcarona should make it pretty easy to sweep with Hi Jump Kick late-game.

Before I really get into the rate, I just want to nitpick a few things. First of all, Aerial Ace is standard only on the UU set to hit Heracross. In OU, you definitely want to use Hidden Power Ice to hit Landorus-T and Gliscor, as well as revenge +1 Dragons like Salamence and Dragonite. I could be wrong, but I would bet you haven't hit anything with Aerial Ace that you couldn't have just killed with Hi Jump Kick. Also Reckless is much more useful than Regenerator since it scores you a bunch of KOs that you would otherwise miss, and you won't be missing Regenerator as much if you take my later suggestions). The other thing is that you should probably switch Toxic for HP Ice on Landorus-T. Landorus-T isn't really a toxic stalling Pokémon since it lacks a form of recovery, and your EV spread is especially poor for stalling. HP Ice gives him a way to hit things immune to Earthquake, and also lets you beat opposing Landorus-T, which Mienshao appreciates being gone even with HP Ice. Scizor should have 248 HP EVs to speed creep Jellicent that run 40 Speed EVs so you don't get burned if you want to U-turn out of it (though I don't know why you would). It also lets you Pursuit them if they're low on health without risking a Will-O-Wisp. You can also switch Volcarona's nature to Modest, since Timid doesn't really give you anything too important other than Speed tying Salamence, but you can't do anything to him anyway. Modest also lets you win in a 1v1 situation against other Volcarona, since you have a chance to OHKO, while Timid can only 2HKO. Then you should run 240 EVs to out-speed Hydreigon and the rest should be dumped into SDef. Additionally, you should consider running Giga Drain, which would help you with your Keldeo problem, since it can't kill you outside of the rain if you're at +1, whereas you can OHKO at +1 with only a bit of prior damage (18% chance after SR with no prior damage). Since you'll probably be saying that you won't have a reliable way to deal with Heatran, I would change your Landorus EV spread to 200 HP/ 64 Def / 244 Spe. This makes you faster than even Timid Heatran and you can OHKO with Earthquake while maximizing your bulk. You should be using a defensive spread with that move set anyway.

The major problem with the team is that you have Kyurem-B and Volcarona, which are great Pokémon and can definitely rip through teams if given the chance, but you lack a spinner, so they're taking huge amounts of damage each time they switch in. In addition, your team is incredibly weak to Keldeo, which can O-2HKO everything on your team, especially in the rain. Both of these problems can be fixed by simply swapping Cofagrigus out for Defensive Starmie. Defensive Starmie can do consistent damage to Keldeo with Psyshock, while simultaneously solving your spinning problem. I chose a defensive spread over an offensive one because, while you call this a hyper offensive team, you already have two Pokémon that aren't offensive at all (Cof and Lando-T). There's nothing wrong with that at all, it just means this is more of a balanced team, which is good because Starmie fits perfectly into that style of team! With Scald and Psyshock, you can reliably deal with Keldeo that aren't Specs in the rain (though Mienshao can revenge kill those with Hi Jump Kick anyway, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem). Recover will mean that you can also keep coming in and spinning throughout a match due to the increased survivability. Ferrothorn can keep setting up on you and there isn't much you can do about that, but if you spin and then switch into Volcarona as the opponent sets up Stealth Rock, then you can set up in his face and/or murder it with Fire Blast, so Ferrothorn, while a problem for Starmie, shouldn't be a problem for the team as a whole.

Hope I was able to help! Good luck with the team!
