ORAS OU Hyper Stall? I dunno what to call it

Alright guys I have experience in actually playing the game now. So my teams are better built than before. Want your opinions.

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brick Break/Drill Run
- Poison Jab
- U-turn
- Knock Off

I wanted to build a team around Beedrill being a deadly late game sweeper that it is. I gave it one of the standard set ups. Brick Break covers dark types such as Tyranitar, Weavile. U-Turn for the pivot and STAB. Poison Jab for the Fairy types and STAB. Knock Off for the great utility and overall coverage it gives.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Def / 180 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Power Whip
- Spikes

Ferrothorn being the great wall that it is was an easy choice. Consistent damage with Leech Seed and Iron Barbs on top of hazard setting and a great offensive typing in grass gives me exactly what I need. I had a hard choosing between Power Whip and Gyro Ball, but Power Whip gives me more with this team. With this set, I don't really have to worry about a Magnezone too much and covers special attackers really well. Like Garchomp, makes sweeping with Beedrill a whole lot easier.

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 240 HP / 176 Def / 92 SpD
Impish Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Tank Chomp. Too much passive damage and great bulk. Great status spreader and SR setter. Still has a near 300 Atk stat without any EVs. That's too good. Can take a hit from anything that isn't Ice or Draco Meteor.

Dusclops @ Eviolite
Ability: Frisk
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Protect
- Infestation/Bind
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

A really really good overall wall. On top of Eviolite boosted defenses and burning, Dusclops can take any hit. Great utility and trapping ability. With a cleric, Rest becomes a great recovery move. Also a great spin blocker. Though beware that a lot of spinners such as Tentacruel and Donphan have Knock Off. Other than that, no reason not to add such a wall. You can switch this Pokemon for another, more offensive Ghost type such as Gengar or Chandelure.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 40 Def / 220 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect

Every stall-ish team needs a cleric. And I opted for a offensive cleric so I chose Sylveon rather than Chansey.

Weavile @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard
- Knock Off
- Brick Break

I've been playing. A lot. And I have had many problems with Pokemon such as Latias, Latios, Gliscor, Landorus and many things weak to Ice. Such a terrible defensive typing but the offensive capabilities that Weavile presents are too good to pass up. On top of being a great revenge killer, it can take some of the biggest threats in OU.

Well guys that's my team. What do ya think?

Hi, nice team c:
Firstly your team desperately needs hazard control, because both Mega Beedrill and Weavile can’t afford to take SR damage every time they come in due to being so frail.
Might I recommend Latios as your Defog user? It gives you a check to Keldeo which can threaten your team otherwise and you can drop some powerful Dracos.
Ferrothorn with Rocky Helmet does the same passive damage as Garchomp so you can try use that and also Stealth Rock -> Spikes since you’ll be replacing Garchomp.
Dusclops isn’t really doing much for your team so you should try bulky Rotom-W instead. It gives you a nice counter to Talonflame which also threatens this team and complete VoltTurn core.
Lastly Clefable outclasses Sylveon as cleric if you want a Fairy-type, Unaware also helps if you need a check to dangerous sweepers in general.

tl;dr
SR -> Spikes (on Ferrothorn)
Latios -> Garchomp
Rotom-W -> Dusclops
Clefable -> Sylveon
Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power Fire
- Defog

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

The team format is called balance and this is very well built but I would reccomend all the changes made above me (bobochan)

Hey RemedialPoison, this is a good RMT and not a bad team at all, but you're missing a few ways to deal with some of the most common threats in OU. You might want to add some pictures of your mons in future RMTs; this makes your post more appealing, and it helps if we can see your whole team lined up as they would appear in an actual battle. That being said, on to your team!

Use Drill Run over Brick Break on Beedrill, although its an obvious move to play, it will help you keep Heatran away from you during a late-game sweep.

I would recommend using Gyro Ball on Ferrothorn to hit fast mons like the Gengar or Lati@s ont he switch in, especially since you're not a TWave variant. However, this one is really up to you.

Your team lacks a reliable way to get rid of Ferrothorn and Scizor. Without replacing any mons specifically for this purpose, using Fire Blast over Toxic on Garchomp would definitely help; doing so will allow you to 2HKO most (if not all) variants of Scizor and Ferrothorn.

Like bobochan stated, you DEFINITELY need hazard control on your team for the sake of Beedrill and Weavile. Latios is good as a defogger, but considering that your team uses both spikes and SR, it would be beneficial for you to have a spinner instead, so that you don't need to waste turns getting your own hazards back up. While Dusclops does seem like a good wall, it's too passive and is not doing much for your team. I would replace Dusclops with a Bulky Starmie variant, so you not only receive a second check to Keldeo but also a great spinner as well.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Thunder Wave / Psyshock (If you want to get rid of Keldeo immediately)
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

bobochan mentioned that Clefable may also be a viable cleric for your team. I agree, but Sylveon doesn't seem that horrendous of a choice, and leaving it there is not a bad decision. If you do decide to keep Sylveon, I would use a bold nature and sacrifice some SpD investment to reach 216 Defense EVs, so that it does not get 2HKOed by LO Latios, and you will be able to reliably switch in on it from full.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Protect
- Heal Bell / Flamethrower (More Ferro/Mag/Zor coverage)
- Moonblast

Use Low Kick over Brick Break on Weavile. Low Kick just hits harder on OU mons in general; you'll be able to deal more damage on things like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and KyuB.

That's all I have. These changes are all up to you, but I wish you luck on the ladder with your team!

Hey there cool team, but it could use a couple of changes. I would give Mega Beedrill Protect to keep him safe from attacks to gain the stat boosts the next turn, and I would just get rid of Brick Beak entirely for Drill Run which does much more against Heatran and is better coverage for Fire types. I suggest Fire Blast on Garchomp as this will help against Scizor and Ferrothorn which your team has a lack of reliable ways of killing these two. One thing I noticed is that your team has no hazard removal and that is a problem since you're running Mega Beedrill and Weavile being both weak to Stealth Rock. I recommend Latios over Dusclops as it can remove hazards from the field and Dusclops is pure dead weight your team. Latios can help your teams weakness against Mega Venusaur which walls your team completely; Latios can run HP Fire to lure Ferrothorn and Scizor or can run Roost/Recover to live longer to check against Keldeo and Mega Charizard Y. Honestly I suggest Clefable as it outclasses Cleric Sylveon mostly because of its ability Unaware putting sweepers like Zard X to a halt, and is a better check to Mega Sableye if you want to run a Magic Guard set. Like on Beedrill replace Brick Break with Low Kick, this does more damage the heavier the opposing Pokemon is, doing more damage to Tyranitar, Heatran, Kyurem-Black, and Ferrothorn. Pursuit is also a different option as this allows you to trap Latios, Latias, Starmie, Tornadus, and some other Pokemon that are low on HP. I hope I helped, have a nice day ^_^
