"I can't believe it's an Umbreon!"

This team is really just made out of my idea of a deathtrap umbreon. I don't know if it has been done before, but I was excited to make this.

Toxic. A Garchomp using outrage with a positive nature does around 57-60%. So while that thing sets up, I use toxic. Then I wish, protect, wish protect. With leftovers and the wish healing, it's impossible(except for crit hax) to actually kill Umbreon once this is set up. Baton Pass+Wish support.

This is really my counter to Umbreon's worst nightmare: Heracross. Fire Blast 2HKO's the thing. Pain Split for recovery, Thunderbolt for Gyra, and WoW to either cripple, or to help Umb use his stall strategy.

3. not enough offense, standard resttalk cress just kind of walls everything
4. you have weezing, maybe the best hera counter ever, so why drill peck?
5. nothing takes status. weezing or zapdos can be made resttalkers or something
6. lead with pert as umbreon is really pointless without ts.
7. knock iff isnt that worhtwhile, cool as it is, without sand imo. ice beam over that probably

i dont want to suggest you remove umbreon, so you could try curse+payback+batonpass to white herb garchomp!
 
Need Attacks on Chomp EVs on Weezing. You need to pack Rest/Aromatherapy since a Poison/Paralisis/burn can crippleyour team. You might want to give umbreon Baton Pass.

My main problem is this line: if it does less than 50%
How often does it do less than 50%? Just checking, because I don't really like relying on ifs.
 
Random note: Knock Off and Rapid Spin are illegal together.

Actually, what IS the standard Physical set? Swords Dance + Yache Berry? Choice Band? ChainChomp? TELL US!

Seems too stallish, and RestTalk Cresselia kind of... yeah, decimates this team. Add another Sweeper or two.
 
With both Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock going out on the field and the fact that you need a sweeper makes Gengar a nice fit on this team. You could just go with a Life Orb set for more damage or Choice Scarf for revenge kills.

Zapdos wants Reflect or Light Screen to help support the rest of your team. Since its meant to sweep and it has roost, you might as well just go with a Life Orb here as well to actually do more damage. If you don't like Life Orb, there's always Substitute, U-Turn, Metal Sound, or Thunderwave for more team support.

I'd explain the umbreon thing more, but.... I dunno.

I actually think a resttalking zapdos could have done more than gengar. Thoughts on that? He takes status like people have suggested. But- I have one less sweeper then. Meh.
 
make gengar your lead and give tentacruel rapid spin over knock off. A good team of Tar + Chomp with nape or gengar thrown in which is the new standard it seems for teams really hurts you. umbreon seems to make this team lag in my opinion and i think should be replaced.

What is with the three posion types get rid of weezing as well. I say revamp the team like:

Gengar / Tentacruel / Garchomp / Swampert / Tyranitar / Skarmory

Something like that. I think you are taking the wrong approach into trying to use umbreon. You could remake the whole team to actually have umbreon as the star. Im sorry that it seems like just another generic team but I think it covers everything fairly well. Without changing that many guys of the team.

All in all if you want to keep umbre and weez then make this team more of a stall team which could really help.

I see a vast amount of problems in this team. For one, there are a variety of walls that you're team cannot handle, Cresselia and Bronzong to name a few. Two things that could potentially help are a powerful mixed sweeper with a fire move and a proficient Cresselia killer. I hate to burst your bubble, but the truth of the matter is that Umbreon has no chance competing in OU at this point. Generic pokemon like Tyranitar, Gyrados, Lucario, and others are incredibly common and shut it down horribly. I suggest replacing it with something like Heatran or Mixape. If you decide to go with Heatran, to fill the niche in this team, the set would be along the lines of Modest-252 Sattack/ 216 speed/ 42 hp- Life Orb- Magma Storm/ Earth Power/ Explosion/ Taunt. Seems out of the ordinary right? This accomplishes several tasks- Traps Blissey and guaranteed OHKOs with Life Orb. Traps Cresselia and 2HKOs. Destroys Bronzong. Three important jobs in one. Evs let it outspeed random DDTars, and Taunt will let you get the jump on other random walls. Moving on....I see you pack no phazer. Swampert doesn't need Surf in the first place so just give it Roar in Surf's place. Umbreon should probably be replaced with a more effective wall, such as Bold Zapdos(252 hp/ 222 def/ 36 spe) to take shit from the likes of Lucario and Gyrados which Umbreon could never dream of accomplishing(Cruel can remain the primary special sponge). Weezing seems to be the weakest link of the team. Since I advise against using Scarfchomp, you should replace weezing with something fast....like say scarf azelf. It should run Uturn/Psychic/Hp Ice/ Explosion and be the lead instead of Cruel. With Azelf as you're main speed reliance, you can take Chomp's scarf and replace it with Yache Berry, and a moveset of Outrage/ Earthquake/ Fire Fang/ Swords Dance. This set beats Cresselia if it switches in on a dance, which is a huge bonus. Like you said earlier, you needed Weezing to take on Heracross right? Heres the thing: you aren't weak to Heracross(assuming Umbreon has been replaced). Gengar can switch in pretty safely(watch for SE and Night Slash), and Cruel can switch in easily as well(although it may need for defense ev investment). For Gengar, run something like Shadow Ball/ Focus Blast/ Hypnosis/ Substitute. That can mess with many unprepared teams, while maintaining unresisted coverage.

Cresselia and Bronzong Can be counter with Heracross, the megahorn stab might even 1hko
cresselia Damage: 90.54% - 106.53% With CB
Bronzong Damage: 85.93% - 100.90% cb

I rather go with flame Orb guts heracross, guts raise your attack stage > 1 stage for some reason
