"I didn't want to do a stop-and-shout."

The above quotation is from the great show Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is the creation of comedic genius Larry David. If you don't know who he is, he was the co-creator of Seinfeld and the major writing force for its first seven seasons. Interestingly, each episode is unscripted. The only writing that is done is an outline that sheds some light as to what is supposed to happen in a scene, but not in what manner. This improvisational acting makes for a natural feel, in my opinion. I wish more shows would try it. I own all five seasons on DVD and fully intend to purchase the sixth once it becomes available. Sadly, it is quite likely that that will be the last season of Curb, as one of its directors is leaving the show when the sixth comes to a close.

Have you watched this? What did you think? Do you have a favorite episode?

To answer the third question, it's difficult to pick a favorite, but I think I like Kamikaze Bingo best. That episode has so many hilarious moments and is just superbly put together. Unforgettable, to say the least.

I've seen clips of it here and there and it looks very funny, but I never get round to watching it somehow. I've seen one bit where he takes a bottle of water and he hides it in his trousers. He then hugs a little girl who then runs off screaming 'the old man has something hard in his pants' XD

It's an HBO show, so it airs most often on HBO Comedy but sometimes makes an appearance on the HBO Signature channel.
