I have a question about the rules.

There's something I don't get.Let's say there's a blissey stall war going on and one of the blisseys has sing and already used it on another pokemon of the opposing team.If the pokemon are running out of pp and eventually have to use sing and breaks sleep clause who wins?

What i'm basicly asking is if a person is forced to break sleep clause does he have to forfeit?

If it's turning to a blissey stall war, then the other pokes must be dead i'd assume, if not the player who uses sing will lose

Sing should be the last move Blissey uses (ie. after all her other moves have run out of PP), at which point Blissey isn't actually capable of killing anything and you could just wait it out. The only problem I'd see is if you were in a sandstorm (and thus on a timer), but on WiFi the offender can just quit, and on Shoddy it isn't even possible. At least, that's how I see it.

Okay I forgot to mention that the other guy still has a pokemon left that can potentially kill blissey while it is asleep.

Sleep Clause is often misconstrued. The thing is, you can never purposefully put your opponent to sleep if they already have a sleeping pokemon unless there is no other choice. Or at least that's how I learned it.

So the senario is:

Bob has 2 remaining pokemon. Blissey(no status) and salamence(asleep)
Joe has blissey.

Its blissey vs blissey and the stalling begins.

Joes blissey is forced to use sing because its the only move with pp left. Its sucessful. Now bob has 2 sleeping pokemon.

Is joe forced to concede due to the sleep clause?

I learned that no, you don't have to concede there. But that may just be how I played. Of course, this only applies to Wi-Fi. On Shoddy Sing just wouldn't work there.

Joe also has a alakazam.Sorry it's kinda hard to explain but i'll put it this way

Bob and joe's blisseys are stalling alakazam and salamence are about to die.Joe eventually runs out of all his other moves and is forced to use sing and now has the option of killing blissey and salamence with alakazam. Is joe to blame for breaking sleep clause or does bob lose cause joe had no other choice?

If you have another choice, then you have to use that before breaking Sleep Clause, including switching and running out of PP with 'Zam.

If it happens to you a lot, you need a better team...?

If you are forced into using a Sleep move you shouldn't automatically lose, but if you're in that position you're going to lose anyway.

I was never the one in those positions it was my opponents :D.I think this happened to me about 5 times now.Blissey stall wars and blisseys with sing are not uncommon either. It can happen to any team.
