I have no idea what to do with my domain

So yeah. I got a domain about a month ago but I dont know what to do with it. I installed phpbb and a portal for it, but its pretty plain and offers nothing. Any ideas?

Also I'm giving away subdomains and webspace if anyones interested, unlimited space is nice.

why would you buy a domain for no reason?

i suppose that question answers itself in a way
 
yes, i too joined your community, pretty much interested in what'll be going on there.

and sanders i didn't know you profited from linking porn sites to porn sites.
 
Yeah, if you guys want some webspace just ask me.


And I didnt really buy it per-se, I have a friend who gives me domains if I put his google ads on my site (he has his own server, the ads pay for the domain and then some, win-win)
 
I like the style of the site and the forums. Find a niche for them and you could probably make the site grow.
 
you can make profits from ANYTHING. I mean, people actually just buy domains that they think will become 'in-demand' later on and sell them for much higher rates.
 
seriously though if you still don't really know what you're going to do with it, i suggest using it as an exercise for your coding skills. for starters, 3-column layouts are boring. start with that! maybe by the time you're done, you'll have an idea for the site.
 
One of my IRL friends actually asked me that before (the guy who gave me the domain actually lives in England, but I've known him through an online community for about 4 years now!) and I asked him. He replied saying he has no money at the moment, and he's busy with exams.

However I'm sure in the future he would make that offer. ;)

If you're giving away subdomains, you should look at freedns.afraid.org. You can submit your domain there, and you'll be able to give out subdomains much more efficiently. You can let anyone use a subdomain based on your domain, or you can make your domain private. If it's private, you can select the people to whom you'd like to give subdomains.

It's a pretty interesting project. I think so, anyway.
