So Hey guys this probably my first post ever on here! Thanks for reading and any suggestions would be much appreciated!(sorry i don't know how to post pictures like the other threats...)
I started a couple of months ago and in the past i few i've been using this team and getting a lot of wins, but there's always one problem: Breloom, so here we go I hope you enjoy!
Politoed (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]
So of course all rain teams need some sort rain format and i choose the forever rain Politoad, I did the spatk variant because as you;ll see later on my team is full of walls,... So yeah, i usually lead off with it, and i can Almost OHKO any thing that doesn't resit hydro pump, so i think it's a pretty decent pokemon
Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Roar
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
After Battles and Battles of not having a spinner phazer or priority moves, I decided to switch Dophan in(used to be a physical atker), It fits pretty well into the team, i wish it sponged hits better but it's doing still pretty well. Ice shards helps alot with dragon types that i run into that are low on health earthquake is just a filler move will the others are pretty self explanatory.
Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Power Whip
Ah, one of my favorite Pokemon, Ferrothorn is definitely a huge plus for this team, It can special and physical hits so well, most pokemon that switch into to it get leech seeded then just sub and power whip'em. It's great for sponging and the occasional troll XD
Gastrodon (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Recover
- Toxic
- Scald
- Earthquake
Ha ha Gastrodon is also one the huge help on this team, It can absord water and atks, and troll the electric move point towards Politoad. I usually try to toxic stall with it, but sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, Scald is pretty decent in the rain, I can normally 2HKO a Gliscor with it, Earthquake because most people suspect it is all special and they tentacruel in but the earthquake takes care of that. and Recover is.. yeah
Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Thunder
Latios XD, He's always doing work on my team, you know revenge killing almost everything... Ha ha , i just realized that i has spd instead of speed,.. awkward... Well i guess it still outspeeds a lot of things in the game. I've always had trouble pick the move set for him, but this what I've been using the most.
Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Night Shade
- Confuse Ray
Dusclops glues together my defesive core of Gastrondon Ferrothron and himself. They cover each others weaknesses and they each have sorta a recovering move, Pain Split trolls people so much, just when they think they're gonna kill, pain split just makes them rage, will because this more of a spd then def, night shade it's main atking move after a couple of pain splits they get low enough where a night shade would just knock'em out. Cofuse Ray is kinda the filler move here, It's helps with the set up sweeper but i have 3 other walls to mess with them so yeah
So sorry for all the grammar issues and using words too many times but Kinda nervous about this, XD, I do fine against most teams, The only major problem is Breloom just completely walls my team, I've had tons of battles and not once i have won against a team that Had breloom on it, i'm just so stuck right now, I need help from you guys XD, Any suggestions would be much appreciated and once again Thanks for reading!
