I love lamp - and sunshine

This is my first RMT post so please be gentle in your criticisms/ comments. :D

Ninetales @ Life Orb
Ability: Drought
EVs:128 HP/252 SpAtk/20 SpD/ 108 Spe
Nature: Modest
- Sunny Day
- SolarBeam
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp

Standard Ninetales sunny day lead. This set outspeeds the omnipresent Politoed and Tyranitar, thus Sunny Day to ensure weather goes out. After that purpose is fulfilled, Ninetales occasionally comes in handy to dish out a SB or Will-O-Wisp.

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs:4 Def/252 HP/252 SpD
Nature: Calm
- Moonlight
- Thunder Wave
- Reflect
- Psychic

Cresselia is one of the best mixed walls in the game, and also a personal favorite. With the boost to moonlight, Cresselia makes for a very effective wall in the sun. T-wave is mainly for crippling sweeps, and Reflect is mainly for supporting Venusaur, Volcarona, and/or Ninetales. STAB Psychic rounds out the set.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs:252 HP/ 252 Atk
Nature: Adamant
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Donphan is a physical tank on this team, along with setting up SR and making life good for Volcarona with Rapid Spin. Besides that, Volcarona and Donphan match up quite well on a Sunny Day team. Water's damage is halved in the sun, and Grass (Donphan's one of the other two weaknesses) is countered extremely well by the molten Mothra. With 31 IV's, HP reaches 384, Defense reaches 276, and Attack reaches 372. This poke can take hits and dish them out as well with STAB Earthquake and Stone Edge for flying type coverage.

Venusaur @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs:252 HP/100 Def/100 SpD/52 SpAtk
Nature: Modest
- HP Fire
- Growth
- Synthesis
- SolarBeam

When I returned to the metagame after a 6 month break, I was surprised to hear Drought+Chlorophyll wasn't banned. Well, here I am, abusing the crap out of it. After a Growth, this monster's(literally) special attack reaches 544. Couple that with 390 speed in the sun, 264 special defense, 227 defense, and 364 HP, you've got a tank that can do some serious damage. STAB SB hits water, ground, and rock types super hard, and HP Fire provides optimal coverage against steel-types along with getting a Sun boost.

Volcarona @ Life Orb/ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Spe/ 120 SpD/ 120 SpAtk
Nature: Modest
- HP Ice/ Morning Sun
- Quiver Dance
- Heat Wave
- Bug Buzz

I would love to see a moth on fire. Sadistic, huh? Right now I'm running the more offensive oriented set with LO and HP, but I think one with leftovers and MS could definitely be viable. After a QD, SpAtk is 530 and Speed is 447. Sick nasty. Heat Wave and Bug Buzz are good STAB, and HP Ice gives nice coverage. With Cresselia's reflect, this thing has relative bulk to stick around for awhile.

Darmanitan @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 Spe/ 252 Atk
Nature: Adamant
- Flare Blitz
- Superpower
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

The original inspiration for this team. I wanted a pokemon where I didn't have to think about which button to push. Flare Blitz in the sun hits EVERYTHING hard, making Darmanitan an amazing late game clean up act. 434 speed gives you the advantage over anything that's not boosted or scarfed. The rest of the set is mainly there for the lulz, because FB is all that's needed, but I suppose if you want to split hairs those moves are *optional*.

Comment, criticize, completely tear down, all are welcome on my first RMT post!
