I love the Platnium Metagame(OU RMT)

If some of you are curious and are active in the PC S&M section then you may know me. I'm Pokedra from PC.

Anyways, I've been constructing this team on my Pearl, I've taken advice from heaps of people and changed the team around alot however I'm still open to advice.

Revenge Killer/Lead
481m.png

Mesprit@ Choice Scarf
EV : 96 HP/96 Def/160 SpAtk/190Spd
Nature : Timid
Ability : Levitate

Stealth Rock
Psychic
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt

A revenge killer and sets up Stealth Rock off her amazing 443 Spd. Mesprit is sturdy and can take a hit even with no Def or SpD EV investments. After setting SR she switches out and comes back to revenge kill. 190 Spd EV's give me 264 Spd enough to outrun Base 130's with Choice Scarf.

Physical Sweeper
130m.png

Gyarados@ Leftovers
EV : 200 Atk/100 Def/50Spd/160 Spe
Nature : Jolly
Ability : Intimidate

Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Ice Fang
Earthquake

I really screwed up the EV's because this was one of the first Pokemon I EV'ed. But it still works pretty good. He comes in with Intimidate and Dragon Dance's. Then he sweeps with Waterfall/Ice Fang/Earthquake.

Physical Sweeper
230m.png

Kingdra@ Life Orb
EV : 252 Atk/252Spd
Nature : Adamant
Ability : Swift Swim

Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Outrage
Yawn

Kingdra is a monster. With her bulk she can grab a Dragon Dance without dying usually and sweeps with STAB Waterfall/Outrage. Really deadly and Outrage is a wonderful addition which will leave massvie dents in anything not resistant to it. Yawn is quite useful, you can Yawn their Kingdra counter then while they switch out get another Dragon Dance in.

Mixed Sweeper
373m.png

Salamence@ Life Orb
EV : 160 Atk/96 SpAtk/252Spd
Nature : Rash
Ability : Intimidate

Brick Break
Falemthrower
Earthquake
Draco Meteor

Brick Break hits Blissey and Snorlax hard. Flamethrower deals with Skarmory and Steel-types as well as Grass-types. Earthquake deals with Rock-types, Steel-types and so on. Draco Meteor will punch throw Bulky waters with its massive power.

Special Wall
242f.png

Blissey@ Leftovers
EV : 252 Def/128 SpAtk/128 SpD
Nature : Calm
Ability : Natural Cure

Softboiled
Thunder Wave
Seismic Toss
Ice Beam

I took off my old Blissey and had my friend trade me one of his Chansey's from Firered with Seismic Toss. Anyways Calm and 128 SpD EV's gives me 373 SpD which is enough to take many special hits. Seismic Toss is for basic set damage against things resistant to Ice Beam. Ice Beam handles Dragon's and will hit Gliscor for nice damage. I, Thunder Wave fast threats like Gengar, Alakazam and Azelf. Softboiled is for instant healing.

Physcial Sweeper
214m.png

Heracross@ Life Orb
EV : 252 Atk/252Spe
Nature : Jolly
Ability : Guts

Stone Edge
Megahorn
Close Combat
Swords Dance

This thing is dangerous. I usually attack straight off the bat but if possible I Swords Dance. With one SD he was rip through teams easily. Megahorn/Close Combat are excellent STAB moves and Stone Edge hurts Salamence and Gyarados. Wide Lens boosts his accuracy and makes Megahorn and Sonte Edge more accurate.

Please rate and review.

Change Heracross to thisHeracross (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 90 HP/252 Atk/4 Def/164 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
- Close Combat

It is an amazing Pokemon that rips through stall with ease and with your team this works much better. Enough Speed to outspeed Bold Rotom Spread and it should KO after a SD with Stone Edge If SR is in Play.

Mixmence should either be a ...

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 16 Atk/252 Spd/240 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast/ Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor

OR

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 80 Atk/176 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast/Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor

Both these spreads are much better than yours which is kinda garbage lol. Earthquake+Outrage does KO Blissey with the 2nd spread im not entirely sure on the 1st spread.

This is a decent team but you could use a better lead than Mesprit for sure and you may want to change your Gyarados to a bulkier spread since you don't have a physical wall and Stealth Rocks hurts your team with Salamence+Gyarados.

add 6 EVs in HP to Kingdra and Heracross, they're missing some. Outrage over Brick Break on Salamence, it does more damage to Blissey plus when Steels go down you have free reign.

If you're using Swift Swim on Kingdra go ahead and use Double Dance. Waterfall is boosted to incredible heights after Dragon Dance and Rain Dance.

You're also sort of weak to opposing Dragon Dancers, but they can be taken care of with a ScarfGengar over Heracross. It comes in on the predicted Dragon Dance/Earthquake on Mence and Gyara and can KO with HP ice or Thunderbolt.

Gengar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 6 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Explosion

I changed the item to Life Orb but I'll stick with my current set. Works well for me.

Mesprit is a good lead to me, not the best but she's pretty sturdy. I'll consider those other Mixmence sets.

Nah I love my DD Kingdra, Double Dance Kingdra is deadly but I find it never worked for me very well. I like keeping Swift Swim incase the opponent sets up the rain for their Pokes and that happens quite often to me. Sniper is also great so eh....I'll consider changing it.

What is the point in having swift swim without having a pokemon that can use rain dance? Mesprit is a revenge killer who could use Thunder instead of thunderbolt for nevermiss 120 damage which is a pretty shocking attack.
