Hello Smogon Community this is my first RMT ever on any forum so don't take it easy on me. Sorry for the lack of nifty images, I'm posting on a cellular. But you guys (or it's.) can read.
Sorry for no Team Building Process but VBulletin sucks and signed me out in the middle of me writing the Team Building Process and I'm pissed.
Lead Poké
Heatran @ Lum Berry
Trait: Flash Fire
EV Spread:252 HP/72 SpD/176 Spe
Nature: Calm
Moveset:
-Stealth Rox
-Lava Plume
-Earth Power
-Roar
Explanation: People get faked out by no balloon so they assume scarf its nice his main purpose is dealing with sun leads since previously my team said "yo sun set up on me I'll be waiting." He also sets up rocks, sponges hits and gives some. Lum berry is so i dont get messed up later by twave. Moveset is standard. Roar was added to phaze Volcarona, we don't want it to set up do we?
I chose Heatran over other rock leads because he can actually deal with Sun Teams which pain me ever so. Also he loves killing Ferrothorn and Scizor. A recurring problem is I can't lead with Heatran 80% of the time.
Cloyster (F) @ Leftovers (Pizza)
Trait: Skill Link
EV Spread: 252 HP/124 Def/124 SpA
Nature: Modest
Moveset:
-Spikes
-Toxic Spikes
-Scald
-Icicle Spear
Explanation: He sets up spikes and toxic spikes. If I see something without a spinner or weather inducer (bar hippowdon and abomasnow) he leads. Leftovers insures long life. Scald is epic I usually hit steels with it. Icicle Spear is for coverage and 125 base power. (thanks skill link)
I chose Cloyster because of his ability to set up spikes and t spikes. Forteress wasn't chosen because all he does is add another fire weakness and another steel. Steels have become a little lackluster with Magnezones floating around being trolls to Steels.
Cobalion @ Choice Scarf (no homo)
Trait: Justified
EV Spread: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Nature: Jolly (Santa Clause)
Moveset:
-Close Combat
-Volt Switch
-Iron Head (Jirachi)
-Stone Edge
Explanation: The head of my dark-fighting-psychic core. He is a standard scarf revenge killer. It is also a nice scout. You guys will probably say terrakion is better but does terrakion get a scouting move? No. CC for stab obviously you guys are smart enough. Iron Head can be game changing but it can be changed and stone edge for coverage.
Cobalion was kept in mind from the beginning Justified is a lulzy ability, laughing at CrunchTars thinking they're cool. A great revenge killer with great coverage in Close Combat and Stone Edge.
Weavile (M) Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EV Spread: 80 HP/252Atk/176 Spe
Nature: Jolly
Moveset:
-Ice Punch
-Ice Shard
-Low Sweep
-Night Slash
Explanation: Stab Ice Punch, 115 base speed oh god yes. Weavile means YOU DIE NOW LATI TWINS AND DRAGONITE. Weavile is revenge kill extroardinaire and dragin buster champ. Pressure kinda sucks but so does pickpocket. Ice Punch for STAB, Night Slash for crit hax. Ice Shard for those DDancing AHoles and low sweep was suggested and it was beastly in tests.
Weavile has a great STAB combo and beastly stats 100+ Speed and Attack with life orb and Jolly makes him ridiculously powerful. He likes to kill Tyranitars and Excadrill which tips my leverage against Sand Teams.
Jellicent (F) @ Leftovers (Thai Food)
Nature: Bold
Ability: Water Absorb?
EV Spread: 248 HP/216 Def/48 Spe
Moveset:
-Recover
-Scald
-Will-O-Wisp
-Taunt
Explanation: Suggested by sirndpt. Its a Taunt wallbreaker as well as a wall. Moveset is simple, Taunt trolls walls. Recover is for, well ... recovery. Scald so I'm not complete Taunt bait (sorry Gliscor ;)) Will-O-Wisp loves Steels that land on Toxic Spikes and say "lolno noob." EVs are wall standard.
Jellicent was suggested by sirndpt and it is a monster on this team. With Water Absorb it tips the leverage on rain teams. It replaced Gardevoir as a wall on this team.
Scizor (M) @ Leftovers (Steak)
Trait: Technician duh
EV Spread: 252 HP/40 Atk/218 SpD
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch (AK47)
-Bug Bite
-Brick Break
Explanation: Set up sweep possible revenge kill. We've all seen scizor folks an explanation is kinda pointless.
I user to have Wobbufett and Qwilfish but they sucked.
Evs are kinda random but i haven't had the time to do calcs.
Individual threats. Since I'm to lazy to copy/paste the threat list.
Sun Teams: They really wreck when Dugtrio kills Heatran but with my hazards Dugtrio is hurt and sash variants lose their thunder.
Scizor/Bronzong: Once my Scizor and Heatran are gone they hurt so they must be dealt with immediately.
TTar leads: They chomp on my Heatran and Cloyster but leading with Cobalion helps.
Haxorus (Scarf): He wrecks me simple.
Rock Polish Terrakion: I've never seen one before but it wrecks my team apparently.
Nasty Plot Thunderus: Hits half my team for super-effective damage.
