XY OU I need generalized advice

My team consists of:

Gorebyss @ White Herb
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Calm Nature
- Shell Smash
- Baton Pass
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

Gorebyss has 1 job, pass shell smash to someone else. It can be a serviceable special attacker but it is so frail that once screens are got it will be 1hkoed quickly.

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Ground]

No one seems to see this one coming. With specs alone it does it's job relatively well, hampered by a lower than I would like speed, but making up for that with some strong damaging attacks like energy ball which helps bait water types.

Cloyster @ Kings rock
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Rapid Spin
- Shell Smash
- Rock blast

Here is the pokemon I built this team around. With a smash pass and kings rock he is capable of sweeping most enemy teams, his rapid spin support means he can remove rocks even when he isn't that useful.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Flamethrower
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss

Why do I even need to explain blissey you ought to know this set by now. Switch it in on powerful specail attacks t-wave softboil and seismic toss your way to an annoying victory.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Roost

No one sees this coming. This gliscor doesn't run a lot of the things you would expect from a gliscor. No toxic and no protect. Its job is to get 3 sdances and sweep. It does this job fairly well.

Klefki @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Toxic
- Thunder Wave

Klefki is my support pokemon. Many pokemon on my team can not do anything without screen support t-wave and toxic helps to clear up faster and bulky threats respectively but 1 taunt and he is out of the game.

The idea being that Klefki sets up screens allowing gorebyss to pass shell smash to cloyster, chandelure, or gliscor depending on who is best suited to sweep the enemy team. This team has a huge problem with Taunt and I need to be able to stop fix that.

With only 72 speed investment on your Gliscor with an adamant nature only allow you to outspeed neutral based 70mons so even at +6 I don't think a sweep can even happen, I would recommend mixed Kyurem-B since you have gorebyss as a smash passer so you don't always have to pass to cloyster. Also, with your EV spread on blissey, it would be way better to use an eviolite chansey as it's bulkier.
Also, you have no form of priority moves on your team so I would suggest you to run ice shard on your cloyster. Cloyster's rather weak to some of the common priority like Mach punch and being neutral to bullet punch so I think it'll appreciate a priority of its own very much. :]

'No one seems to see this coming'
That's because those sets aren't particularly good.
Gliscor doesn't need s. dance that much. Can I reccomend the Gliscor set I use:

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Roost

Knock off is a job I reserve for Pokemon who lack offensive capability.

I think you need to add just a little bit more information to what role each Pokemon plays on the team to avoid you getting locked. Maybe include which have good synergy with each other and how you're able to predict switches and use your play style effectively!

Replace Chansey with Blissey

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Wish
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

Alright, the reason I have chosen Chansey is because this thing can provide you great Wish support while being able to keep itself at a decent HP. Invested in both Defense and Special Defense, but still using the Bold nature, Chansey will be able to effectively take both special and physical hits while being able to stall the opponent out with Toxic/Seismic Toss and recovering of the damage which you have taken. The Eviolite obviously ensures that you're getting the best out of the defense you are being given however be cautious of those Knock Off users. You want to preserve Chansey as long as posible throughout the match.

Also, welcome to the RMT forums, glad to help :]

I myself have tried to use specs chadelure but to no avail. even at full speed it's only at 284, not enough to outspeed most of the tier. I would either switch specs to scarf for the speed or give it full evs in hp rather than speed and use life orb for versatility. I found life orb chadelure to be more effective.

Swap Blissey out for eviolite Chansey. Also do wish>softboiled. It has the bulk to wait a turn for the heal and can pass large wishes, which can really help out your team to recover the life orb Chandleure which will be taking life orb damage.

I agree you need to change your gliscor set, like this one:

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 184 HP / 252 Atk / 72 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Defog/toxic
- Earthquake
- Roost

I would definitely run defog over toxic, that way you can get rid of rapid spin on Cloyster and give it ice shard, giving you a priority with an opportunity to flinch.

I don't think you need Gorebyss, i can see how a smash pass is helpful but having two (frail) water types doesn't help out your team much. I notice you dont have a mega, so maybe you want to add one of those. I'll get back to you on it, but you'll definetly want to fill this whole with a speedy sweeper. Good luck!

Thank you all for your advice. I found I could not run both poison heal and defog on gliscor so I dropped defog. Chansey is doing work, though I swapped toxic for defog. Partly because heal bell keeps burn off my physical sweepers, and partly because klefki has little issue surviving long enough to give her a hand stalling. I replaced shell smash with ice shard on cloyster as I need rapid spin still and he is enjoying the hell out of the priority.

Thank you all again for your advice ths team is twice as threatening now :D!
