Seriously though, who has played Neopets before and why did you stop playing? :cloud:
 
I made 2 million or so in the Neopian stock market before deciding to quit. I gave all the money to someone but I forget who.
 
i was a neopets fanboy and i made about 3 mil before i quit after three months when my account got hacked.
needless to say, i was going to quit anyways.
 
My sister used to be all about this. I never understood why it was so popular, but my sister was a FIEND (and still is) for flash games and whatnot. I guess that'd be a pretty big draw of playing that game
 
When i was younger I was crazy about it. I went on.. All the time. Never got more than 11 mil though..

Stopped playing after it got boring. Which was about a year later.
 
I really enjoyed it when I was 10, the games were particularly fun.
Now however, the games are still pretty fun ^___^
 
I played quite a bit of Neopets back in the day and was decent enough at it. I quit the game when all my friends, both offline and the ones I'd met online, quit as well. The staff of the site had gotten horrible and everything I liked about the game had been watered down (restocking, battledome). My account had been frozen illegitimately twice, but unfrozen again miraculously enough. I sold the 50million I had in assets for a $50 game.
 
Played for nearly two years. Quit because I lost a Greater Staff of the Earth Faerie to a glitch while, ironically, attempting to put it in my safety deposit box. Got my account banned a couple years after that because I was trading points between accounts. (I sold them for a large set of high-end Diablo 2 runes.)

I was obsessed with it, i got alot of trophies but my account got frozen blah blah blah. cant remember the specific numbers of my name but i'll post if I remember it..my NP count was extremely high, dont recall exactly what as i had a few really expensive items.

i played for 2-3years straight, quit, came back a year or 2 later and played for a few months before getting irritated that my pet wasnt gonna have a trophy from 2 different wars -_-
 
I never got the whole fuzz for Neopets but I think I would have enjoyed it when I was younger. I know a couple of people who played it though they still do actually, they go completely berserk about updates and everything reminds me of myself when Smogon updates pokemon movesets or when Gamefreak releases new event pokemon or well Platinum in general.
 
i remember trying to get into it. all i wanted was the draik and i would refresh over and over again waiting for one to come. one time it actually did! but i was setting up it's stats and clicked proceed to find out that i had been beaten to the punch.

so yea fuck that game all i ever did was play meerca chase anyways.
 
I used to have a lv40 pet, got 50k points a day, ran a guild and everything, but got permanently banned for saying my codestone was looking for a date in the trade system.

I used to play it back in the day, I had valueable assets because I started right when it came out, I quit one days about 5 years ago or so when my friend was over and he saw that I had visited neopets and looked at me with a weird face, and I said back erm my brother goes on that website, but I was getting tired of it anyways.
 
I "missed" out on neopets. My friend tried to get me into it but at the time online games seemed like a chore to me. And they still do which is why I've never played WoW or anything else.
 
I played in two week bursts when I was younger. I probably would have gotten more into it if my computer hadn't be on dial-up, everything took so long it wasn't even worth it.

Some of the games were pretty fun though, I liked the tug of war (I think that was Neopets at least...)

I have a little Phiddlesticks Chia (sorry, couldn't get the wolf!). He's pretty depressed and dying. But then not much is new there apparently :).
