I caught a Level 16 Male Gible in the Wayward Cave today and here are his IV's and Nature:
Gible(M) Lv16
HP IV: 12
Atk IV: 25
Def IV: 19
SpA IV: 16
SpD IV: 6
Spd IV: 30
Nature: Lonely(Attack+, Defense-)
Trait: Likes to run (Raises Speed)
Chomper, my Gible, has a very good Speed IV and a good Attack IV. It basically means I struck it rich here, and a new physical sweeper is born.
But his Special Defense is pure garbage(due to the IVs) and will just drop and die to an Ice Beam. Meh, you can't have everything.
This is what I want to do with this future Garchomp:
Garchomp(M) @Leftovers
Trait: Sand Veil
Lonely@ 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Sp. Atk
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Swords Dance
-Fire Blast
For the first few turns, Chomper should use Swords Dance to increase its Attack to extreme levels. Then he should launch Earthquakes or Dragon Claws depending on the opponent. Should, for any reason, a Skarmory or Bronzong come around to ruin Chomper's fun, Chomper can use Fire Blast to fend off Skarmory. Despite the fact that Fire Fang is a physical move, Fire Blast does more damage overall.(120 BP Spc>65 BP Pys). Though, Gyarados, if he gets the chance, Dragon Dance up as I Swords Dance, then OHKO me with Ice Fang, so I might replace FB with Stone Edge.
