I would like to make a suggestion for this forums Rules

As some of you may know I have a topic regaurding Online setup,basic guidlines to protect one from getting scammed, and detailed lists on Tiers, termonology, training tips and explanations on clones, hacks, and such on GameFAQS.

It has been an effort awhile in the making by me, AA, and many others, and honestly I think there should be a sticky here covering these very things of some sort. I'd be happy to write up a proposal for this site as well, that is if it's not to bold of me to do so, being here for just a few weeks and all.

If anything it will cut down on people getting banned amd wasting thier time on "internet drama",
and help newbies out who will just be getting started in D/P at the same time.

Smogon is different than gamefaqs. On gamefaqs, I (SePh258 )am hated by many of the people there. I'm not saying that smogon is superior in every way (I"m sure many think so) but I"m saying it's a lot more organized and the noob ratio here is not 12984536-1 like on gamefaqs. The people here have a better clue as to what they are doing.

I do realize that a certain level of organization could be very beneficial, but a guide about basic information is not necessary. You have not been a member of smogon for very long, so you don't exactly know about this community as well as some of our members. There are some newbies, but someone who knows what they are doing, (like you it would seem) should try and help those people so the can learn. On gamefaqs however, any conflict becomes a flame war. It's not bad that you're only trying to help lol. Just my 2 cents.

Hence why I didn't outright post it in it's entirety here. Still, I believe that some sort of rule that requires people to inform others of the orgins of thier Pokemon should be up somewhere. Even if people here are less, well, stupid, than on GameFAQs, I'd hate for someone to get a hack/clone that they didn't want because of an honest oversight.

If you can't even figure out how to get yourself online, you're a lost cause.

We're not here to babysit you. Our members are big boys (and girls), they can not be dumb enough to trade their Rayquaza for a 1/5/2/7/15/2 Rattata.

We're not here to help you cheat. Jesus Christ, with posts like this it's no wonder we had such a bad reputation with NoA at JAA.
