Garganacl is a potent wincon due to the combination of Iron Defense, Body Press, and Terastallization allowing it to beat a wide array of physical attackers such as Dragonite, Mega Scizor, and Great Tusk. Salt Cure heavily chips common Steel- and Water-types such as Heatran, Alomomola, and Ferrothorn while also impairing the longevity of sweepers like Cresselia and opposing Garganacl, making them passive and more easily exploited by teammates. Recover allows Garganacl to check Pokemon like Heatran and Volcarona and increase its sustainability as a sweeper. Tera Water allows Garganacl to check Pokemon like Urshifu-R while providing valuable resistances to other attacks like Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch. Additionally, it allows Garganacl to stave off rain attackers such as Mega Swampert and Barraskewda. Alternatively, Tera Fairy lets Garganacl reliably set up in front of Pokemon like Great Tusk and Zamazenta while becoming a sturdy check to Mega Lopunny. Tera Ghost is another option, letting Garganacl stop Sneasler and Mega Medicham in their tracks, but it must be wary of Pursuit from Weavile and Mega Tyranitar after the fact. Teammates who can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from pivots such as Toxapex and Alomomola greatly assist Garganacl in making progress with the combination of entry hazards and Salt Cure, making Tornadus-T, Weavile, and Mega Tyranitar great allies. Additionally, the latter two can trap Galarian Slowking with Pursuit, which would be a major roadblock to Garganacl otherwise. Garganacl also appreciates teammates capable of absorbing Knock Off themselves such as Mega Scizor and Gliscor, as its sweeping potential is hindered severely without the passive recovery of Leftovers. Entry hazard removers like Tornadus-T and Great Tusk are also appreciated, as Garganacl is susceptible to chip damage from entry hazards while trying to switch into pivoting attacks like Zapdos's Volt Switch and Tornadus-T's U-turn. Additionally, it benefits from entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Clodsire and Heatran to outdamage Regenerator on Pokemon such as Toxapex, Tangrowth, and Alomomola. Wallbreakers like Iron Valiant and Kartana appreciate their checks in Toxapex and Moltres serving as entry points for Garganacl to wreak havoc.

Garganacl is an potent wincon due to the combination of Iron Defense + Body Press allowing it to beat a wide array of physical attackers such as Dragonite, Mega Scizor, and Great Tusk in conjunction with Terastallization. Salt Cure hammers common Steel- and Water-types such as Heatran, Alomomola, and Ferrothorn while also being a solid option to impair the longevity of opposing sweepers like Cresselia and Gholdengo. making them passive and more easily abused by teammates. Recover allows Garganacl to check Pokemon like Tornadus-T and Weavile no it does not, they will knock u off and u r a very useless wincon Volcarona and Heatran long-term and increases its sustainability as a sweeper. Tera Water allows Garganacl to check Pokemon like Gholdengo and Urshifu-R while providing valuable resistances to Steel- and Water-type moves. Notably, It allows Garganacl to stave off rain attackers such as Mega Swampert and Barraskewda. Alternatively, Tera Fairy lets Garganacl reliably set up in front of Pokemon like Great Tusk and Zamazenta, while becoming a sturdy check to Mega Lopunny. Tera Ghost is another option, letting Garganacl stop Sneasler and Mega Medicham in their tracks full stop here however it must be wary of Pursuit from Weavile and Mega Tyranitar. Garganacl must be wary of Covert Cloak Gholdengo it isnt just covert ghold, mention how it knocks boots from fat regens, so teammates who can remove its item via Knock Off such as Tornadus-T, Mega Tyranitar, and Weavile make for good teammates. Mention how latter two can also pursuit trap Garganacl also appreciates teammates capable of absorbing Knock Off themselves such as Mega Scizor or Gliscor, as its sweeping potential is hindered severely without the passive recovery of Leftovers - u gotta mention why. Entry hazard removers like Tornadus-T and Great Tusk are also appreciated as Garganacl is susceptible to chip damage from entry hazards while trying to switch into pivoting attacks like Zapdos's Volt Switch and Tornadus-T's U-turn. Additionally, it benefits from entry hazard support from Pokemon such as Clodsire and Heatran to outdamage Regenerator on Pokemon such as Toxapex, Tangrowth, and Alomomola. Wallbreakers like Iron Valiant and Kartana appreciate their checks in Toxapex and Gholdengo serving as entry points for Garganacl to wreak havoc. Teammates like Weavile and Tapu Lele pair well with it, as they can threaten Pokemon that Garganacl would otherwise struggle with, such as Covert Cloak Gholdengo and Urshifu-R respectively.
