SV OU Idk I'll just put this team that took me to 1700s on the sv ou ladder

I'm a player that used to play about two years ago when SS ou was the current generation. Then I came back around 2 months ago and started grinding the ou ladder trying to get tera reqs(with a different team) but failed. I almost hit top 500 with this team. I don't have the exact replay of me hitting top 1700s. You can see as of now that I'm around 1600s(same name as smogon), mainly due to experimenting with a new team that's pretty shit tbh. Well Let's get started

Joker (Meowscarada) @ Choice Band
Ability: Protean
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flower Trick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Leech Seed

This is the pokemon I built my team around. Their moveset has remained the same besides swapping out play rough for t-spikes, then to leech seed. I started off with play rough and found that it wasn't really that good. Play rough didn't hit that many targets super effectively. It was only against roaring moon where I could hit them super effectively and get the KO. Roaring moon though does naturally outspeed Meowscarada. Roaring moon however can get ohkoed from a stab banded u-turn; so I decided to swap out for toxic spikes. Then, there was the problem of t-spikes not hitting the important targets. They would either have Glimmora or Clodsire absorb t-spikes, or they would be running boots. I didn't like the idea of locking myself into the prediction heavy sucker punch so I went with leech seed, which is a lot more useful than you think. You can leech seed on the switch and get a little chunk of healing. You can also force them to switch out with a leech seed and take advantage of that. Another thing, soft check to bp gargasalt and fatass dondozo.

Akbar the Great (Great Tusk) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Headlong Rush
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
Aka Landorous 2.0. This is one of my favorite sets to use. I find scarf tusk to be underrated. You basically have a pokemon with a threatening stab combination that you can't outspeed unless, you're a scarfer faster than tusk or BE Valiant. You can catch a lot of people off guard with doing something like 90% to Dragapult if they do decide to stay in and draco meteor. Draco meteor also, doesn't kill. This is also my soft check to Tai-Lung(Chien Pao) as they outspeed and can ohko. I originally got this set from another team, who utilized a lot of tanky pokemon and a banded chien pao. I found that when laddering with their team. It was exceptionally good. I found scarf tusk to change the tide of the game which regular tusk can't do unless he rapid spins before hand. If he does get knocked off though, it's not too much of a big deal. Rocks also aren't too much of a problem for this team as I rarely click rapid spin throughout the many games I've played. Also quick thing to mention is that you don't fear scarf Gholdengo when you're running this set.

Paradisio (Clodsire) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 72 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Recover
- Counter
This is a set that I've experimented and found success with it. I might have lost toxic but the downside isn't so bad. You can 0-100 pokemon that seem like they would threaten your whole team. If you saw my whole team, it's pretty weak to Chien-Pao users that can read me like a book. But If they lead with chien-pao and i tera and they go straight for the ice move, You can just straight eliminate the biggest threat. Although I do think that I should change the item and tera typing. I rarely tera clodsire so maybe this isn't such a big deal. He's there for rocks and to prevent me from getting 6-0d by rain. Unaware is also an option but as I mentioned before, you're weak to rain. Def evs so I don't get 1 tapped by something like a full attack tusk eq.

Purgatorio (Gholdengo) @ Covert Cloak
This is also a fun set that Iearned through climbing the ladder with other teams. You completely wall gargasalt although I've seen they've started to run eq because of this set. This thing used to be tera steel, until I changed it recently, as I found the defensive type change to be overall better. I also can beat dragonite on the switch if I nasty plot before hand as they can get outsped by me and can't counterplay with espeed. This string cheese is also solid overall as a sort of primary spin blocker and a setup sweeper. You could beat every special wall besides unaware quagsire with this. Also checks non knock off valiants really well. The EV spread is kinda random, but I focus on physical defense as the main threats are dnite and tusk.
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 116 HP / 140 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball
- Recover
- Nasty Plot

Also another pokemon very useful, who is my check to physical attackers specically ones that target Dirge's ground weakness. I'll tera this sometimes when needed to counter dd dnite, tusk. or other pokemon that can threaten it defensively. this can even break though gargasalt when accumilating enought torch song boosts. It can 2hko when he hits +5-6. That one speed ev there, mainly so I don't have to tie with other dirges but you can argue that it's unneeded and is better off going in special atk or def. This thing can even take a banded chien pao crunch about 87.5% of the time from full and can threaten to ohko or burn it.
Inferno (Skeledirge) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Slack Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex

This slot used to be Tauros water, but I learned that hyper offense 6-0s me so I instead used a pokemon that I've found fun to use that is also threatening. Like tusk, this is mainly used as a late game cleaner, but with the removal of water tauros stab shadow balls aren't as threatening as they used to be. I can also resist Tai Lung's stab combination although there is sacred sword. This thing prevents cheap ass espathra from beating me which i find incredibly satisfying, and i also have a better check to volcarona who has previously swept my whole team before the addition of kingambit. Tera flying is obvious, there to avoid tusk and mach punch from breloom. Th ev spread is the same as the standard one.
Damiyo (Kingambit) @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 168 HP / 252 Atk / 88 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave

That's about it from me, if you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm currently trying to build some other teams as playing the same team can get pretty stale.
-There's some grammatical and formatting errors and I don't feel like fixing em tbh.
